In no order:
I'm short to save this game from what appears to be death in the next 12 months as I watch guild members retire while telling myself there is still a point to this grind...
short battle times at all difficulties + new battle mechanics + novel game modes + new builds (char/gear/trait) = (reduced attrition + new player growth + monization)
You tie into spinoffs to capture new users.
Increase end game fun with 'new',.you must stop increasing levels, nobody wants to shoot a lvl 99 zombie for 20 real life minutes for an 'extra 4 points per map' when I can shoot lvl 50s for 8 minutes for a trivial percent less.
Increase the difficulty without relying on level gap mechanics (easy for you, boring for us)
Allow more customization, purpose of playing (make a truly custom weapon work bench that requires some unlockable scheme)
New game modes - like infiltrate a camp and complete x objective that gives purpose to stealth or other mechanics or otherwise gives purpose to tier a and lower heroes. (Again, don't make me rely on stun lock with lvl 100 humans)
Break up meta without nerfs by introducing new mechanics like synergies + dodge rate of one melee, or all melee gets always active power strike and 25% chance to gain half an action point.
New novel hero concepts for example mechanic - can build temporary barriers, or actual pets

Think your playing the game wrong if you have level 99 walkers coming out 😂. There are some points agree with though which is the game is getting a bit stale at the moment. Trying to bump my enjoyment up by using different hero’s but happy for NG to also do something to increase the fun.

Love the idea of a custom work bench. It’d be great to collect tokens for a trait which, when we have enough of them, we could infuse onto a regular upgraded weapon of our own. Suppose the only downside would be that GW infused weapons wouldn’t be something to get so excited about and look forward to. But I’d happily trade in the anticipation of GW weapons for a trait-welding bench in the workshop

I'm glad you mention stealth because I always thought it was a bit of a wasted opportunity in this game (and possibly a way to redeem melee classes). Sometimes, hiding from enemies is just as fun as gunning them down. I'm just not sure could commit to such a development effort at this point. In Game: Fives

Human enemies have been pretty much backburnered since they released (what...5 years ago?) and I think devoting some time into them again would be worthwhile. Cuz let's face it, Walkers are the lowest form of danger in TWD apocalypse universe.
In stealth mode, humans could be stationary, casual walking (2 spaces per turn), or even doing other tasks (farming, smoking, taking a piss). Currently they just marathon blitz run all over the map like lunatic AI on cocaine.
I mean what's more terrifying the level 54 Spike Walker, or a level 54 assault with an obliterator and stun resistance armor? Sneaking around that guy might be the better option if it was possible.

I guess NG thought no bueno.

I'm definitely sneaking around that guy.. maybe that Gas barrel I shoot that explodes brings a human to investigate and I sneak another way... Or maybe this is an opportunity to introduce traps for a new game mechanic.
Seeing as how this game development firm has been acquired.. we're either going to see outside money invested.. or they'll milk the cows dry before sunsetting. I see they want to minimize by the fact they introduced a basic gatcha mechanic... Free items with a paid row with better gear.. the only issue is all of that was worthless in my day to day play.
Just stop relying on beefier walkers that take 20 minutes... It kills the fantasy.. what walker can take 30 grenades, 30 arrows, and 30 sniper shots all while on fire for 20 minutes in the show.. 😅Angelspit said:I'm glad you mention stealth because I always thought it was a bit of a wasted opportunity in this game (and possibly a way to redeem melee classes). I definitely like the idea of a stealth based gamemode with human enemies. Does sound like good game mode for melee, relying on stuns etc.
I also like the idea of giving the dodge trait a bit of a rework, this is something which has just remained the same for the entirety of my play time. Perhaps the numbers could be bumped quite a bit, or revamped so there was a 2nd less likely roll for a complete dodge at high level. Realistically the only melee hero that could probably match the current SMY problem is Neo or Agent Smith

I imagine it sunsetting for a lot of people if rerolling, crafting, and glitch wars situations aren't addressed.

I guess if we see crazy sales soon it's their final fund raise before sunsetting servers
