I just want to say Congratulations to those who cheated on LS !! You had a super easy week with great rewards. Pushed all of us losers who played the hard way using tools, gold and lots of time down the leaderboard.
Shame on you NG for not doing anything about this situation. I already saw one that cheated last week playing for more tokens this week. Your answer to this is to have another cookie week. This shows those that look for and take advantage of bugs that there will be no punishments. As an OG player its a slap in the face. I personally would’ve had my Cookies to the next level today if I thought I had a chance for the top ten. I’m incredibly disappointed and saddened by your lack of respect for all those that didn’t cheat by doing nothing to those that did.

I too am a little disheartened. And it's not just this week. I've had to use a lot of extra time and game capital (flares, grenades, med kits, gold, etc.) just to ensure I would remain in the 21-50 or 51-100 bracket (depending on the week). Now I learn that my weekly standing has been artificially pushed down because players chose to use an exploit (make no mistake it's cheating the game). So not only did I miss out on potentially higher tier rewards I had to invest more time and real money just to keep within my desired tier level. This exploit certainly wasn't a one week thing. It's probably been going on for a number of weeks and there are those who benefited at the expense of others. I hoped more decisive action would be taken. Still have a bad taste in my mouth from two Nation Wars events that had significant cheating.

Since NGs cannot/won't tell us what/if/how any actions were taken against the offenders, (there may have been some penalties, we'll never know unless the players in question tell us), maybe one of them can shed some light?

How about it? Anyone know for certain if those fellas got their full reward? Have/would any of them like to share? Shed some light? 💡🕯️

The fact that a person that was obviously cheating previous week is in this week leaderboard , playing normally , shows everyone that they should cheat or exploit as much without a big punishment and with great reward.
And sorry , I don't understand the "we don't share our punishment policy"
this case is not a case that someone just used to show a bit higher on leaderboard of challenge and/or gw ....which also is crap but not such a big deal .
This is an occasion of people robbing rewards from legit players that spend real money on the game , so an explanation is a must .
But as it seems , we got our answer of how NG gives importance to their own rules .
Since we not get a clear answer from actions taken we can assume whatever we are shown - and that is cheaters keep playing and get reward with second week of cookies in LS , two days gas and XP , and probably they kept the rewards as well

While keeping player names out, sharing the specific punishment could serve as a deterrent. No willingness to share almost insinuates that there was no punishment. Just a thought.

I agree and don't understand how it would be different from the post announced from @Fluxxx about airplane mode punishment.
Shouldn't we know what and how?

Doesn’t it also make sense to give us perspective on the punishment because it’s the fair thing to do? 99% of players are not so self absorbed and spineless to resort to cheating, but we still have the right to know. Pretty sure if I were to commit an actual crime, I would know the penalty for doing so. Never have I ever heard of someone saying “I’m going to commit murder” and authorities saying “let’s see what happens if you do”.

Unless simple there is no punishment ( as it seems since the same cheaters still play ).

There are a lot of folks who have spent a lot of time and money on this game. Do you condone this type of behavior? Cheating in this mode gives these a-holes an undeserving advantage, plus from a monetary standpoint you guys should have a stake in this.
