Ok, I’ll share some time travel info, but don’t share…
Let me start with the summer of 2023… it’s a lot to unpack.
After seeing the success of the A24 studio and the movie Everything, Everywhere, All at Once, Netflix green lights a project that would mirror that type of movie genre. But not having the confidence in an original storyline, they turn to the Terminator franchise. They want to create a big-budget movie to do a “grand unification” of all the Terminator movies and tie them all together in a way that finally makes sense.By the fall of 2023, shooting begins with Stephen Spielberg and James Cameron as co-directors. By the second week, the $75 million budget balloons to $200 million. Production stops around Christmas 2023 after Spielberg bludgeons Cameron with a boom mic. Direction is then taken over by Tim Burton. The budget jumps to $300 million.In an effort to keep the movie going, Netflix attempts to raise subscriptions to $100 per month. Wall Street is not amused and stock prices and user subscriptions plummet.So, in early 2024, Netflix decides to sell off the profitable businesses they own with DECA being one of them.The company that purchases DECA is PornHub. As a result, several changes are made to the game. The biggest change is the better you do in the Challenge, the less clothing your heroes can wear. Brilliant. Sales go through the roof and DECA, a subsidiary of PornHub, acquires Netflix in late 2024 who is struggling with the Terminator Everywhere All At Once movie now at $400 million and a new director, Clint Eastwood.Shooting of the Terminator Everywhere All At Once wraps up late 2024 with post-production wrapping up to allow a 2025 Memorial Day release. Final budget with marketing tops out at $700 million.The movie is released and immediately flops with critics calling it WT2F. Netflix crashes and burns taking down its parent company, DECA. The NML game is taken off line July 24, 2025. PornHub barely survives but is able to license the character images for “artistic use.”
NML fans are depressed… with the exception of 15-year old boys seeing certain female characters appear in Kiss of War.In October 2025, a former NML player is able to parley the money they’ve made short selling Netflix, DECA, and PornHub stock to develop a new game company with servers that use neural-net AI technology. This game company is called Skynet.
The game is relaunched on December 4, 2025, and runs the game with a perfect operational record. As more users join, the game gets better and smarter. On January 10, the game becomes self aware, hacks into NORAD and,,,
Well, the rest is future history.
