Total Havoc Campaign: Weapon Spec Unchanged, 500 Gold Reward for Players

Dear survivors, You may have noticed a discrepancy between the descriptions of the weapons obtained in the current version of the Total Havoc Campaign and the weapon spec mentioned in the 5.8 Update Notes. After our evaluation, we found that the in-game versions of weapons are stronger, and we have decided to maintain the current status quo and not make any changes. As a token of our appreciation for your understanding, we will be giving 500 gold to all players once the Campaign ends.

However, if you still prefer the weapons with the original spec in the Update Notes, you may contact our customer service one week after the end of the Campaign, and we will replace your obtained weapons with the original spec. Thank you for your understanding and support! Please contact me if you have any doubts. Much appreciated!

UPDATE
I am now providing some additional details, please note!
  1. If players choose to replace their weapons. The new weapons will be sent at 12:00 PM (UTC time) on April 3rd and all the replacements will be done within a week. Thank you for your patience
    The deadline for contacting customer service to replace weapons is 12PM (UTC time) on April 3rd. Replacements will not be possible if this deadline is exceeded.

  2. The weapon replacement plan can only be selected as either [replacing both weapons] or [keeping both weapons unchanged], and players cannot choose to only replace one. Players who choose to replace their weapons will not receive 500 Gold( the golds will be take back if player chose to exchange wapons)
  3. Due to technical limitations, if players choose to replace their weapons, we can only provide the original version of the weapon and we cannot retain any upgrades or compensate for any resources consumed during upgrades.

    Just so I understand this correct, if we choose to reach out to support after the campaign ends we can get our weapons swapped for the ones from the patch notes. So we can get the poleaxe with lethal instead of tactical and the wrecker with ensnare rather than destructive. Is this at the expense of the 500 gold or alongside it?

    I'm sure based on the discussions in the other thread, 99% of players on the forums will want to do this.

    500 gold might be incentive enough for free players to keep the gear and not bother support 😂

    I could be wrong but "once the campaign ends" sounds on or just after, so the week later for weapon swapping sounds like we get both. I'm good either way though.

    I feel like it would have saved so much hassle if they had just agreed to change it back in the first place!

    Rather that 4 days of silence, finally getting a message to say they were going to keep them as they are, resulting in a load of backlash from the community before changing your mind and offering this which requires extra steps on both sides. But I guess I will take it :lol:

    i doubt i think they will remove the old for the new but it will be not upgraded. i don’t remember any refund or replacement already upgraded

    It will likely have a different backend ID number, I'd presume it would completely fresh.

    Can you please clarify if you want us to wait one week after the campaign until we contact support like in your message, or that you mean we should contact support within a week after? I assumed the latter, but others read you more literally.

    Thank you Deca. I think this is a much clearer and cleaner response to the situation. 
    I already began upgrading my Wrecker Shotgun .... Hoping the trait just swaps and dont have to re-upgrade it !

    So basically in poleaxe you switched lethal to tactical, and in wrecker shotgun you switched ensnare to destructive.

    in my point of view on the ax it didn't have a big impact, however on the shotgun it changed the chance to root in a normal attack for a little more critical damage.

    I hope I'm wrong, but I have the impression that we can only exchange both weapons, and not just one.

    It would be a nasty surprise.

    I asked Support if I upgraded the Hunter Weapon before the end of the campaign, but then decided I wanted the version announced in the Update Notes, would I get the new version fully upgraded?

    They had no clue. :neutral:

    I then said if I got the weapon un-upgraded, I would ask for the lost XP and time. They responded that they don't give compensation if it is not an error on their part. :neutral::neutral:

    Not impressed with Support right now. :unamused:

    The hunter weapon is currently inferior, and the one announced at the time was superior. Why say in the in-game announcement and here that what we finally got is superior when it isn't? I hope it's not because most players don't enter the forum and wouldn't realize the error... (And in case they did later, there would be the excuse of the 500 gold compensation).
    In my case, due to the change of forum and personal time problems, I recently found out that the weapons had different features from those announced. I even upgraded the hunter one! 🤣🤣🤣

    I appreciate that your extremely busy with the 'take over' but will you be answering any of the many questions in this thread anytime soon please?  Also please can you make sure that support has  been informed about the solution you came up with..Alot of us are  waiting wanting to know when to apply for the weapon switch and can we upgrade existing weapons while we wait..
