Ha! Well progress. I filed one on Monday asking if they are planning on sending me the shotgun with the original traits and I still haven't heard anything. They can have the 500 gold back, I only want the shotgun with the original traits... *Facepalming

I contacted Support back on March 30 and said I wanted to swap out the weapons. Haven't heard a peep out of them. I had another issue dating back further to March 27 and still no response. DECA has no clue what they are doing.

I did it more recently and it was all pre-set answers specifically for exchanging. Might want to try again, the automated responses said it would be done by the 3rd of April.

What's the status of those who want to exchange both weapons of 5.8 update to previously as stated release notes 5.8 specs. I just received another automated response & answered both 'yes' to the question of 500 gold deducted, & both weapons must be in inventory. This is the second time I'm receiving exactly similar questions from support in which I've already answered 'yes' to both questions

i got the same issue before, after 72 hrs being ignored there will be an option to close it and i can send new ticket using the exchange option.

Has anyone that opened a ticket for the exchange actually received the weapons with original traits? If so,did they come as a bundle or just show up in your weapons inventory? Was there some sort of notification?

Just wondering since DECA does not communicate with the player base

I'm still salty about losing the roughly 8 million XP and 3 days I spent upgrading the Poleaxe just to get it swapped with one that isn't upgraded. Someone suggested that we get some Workshop+ tokens when that happens. I'm good with that. @Jeroen

I get your frustration about lost XP, but I've been around long enough to see this is how it is. XP is always lost. It's why I'm still on Full XP for 5 days now.

It's ridiculous that we have to have both weapons to receive compensation. I got the wrecker shotgun but after realizing the traits had changed, I didn't bother going after the poleax. Now they say that they will only give you the original traits if you got both. That makes no sense at all. I don't see why it would be impossible from a software side and if it is impossible then just give everybody both weapons as a token of goodwill since you risk losing a ton of players willing to spend money to play this game.

Hi, been playing the game for a few years now but just created my forum account today to add my name to the unhappy people list !

I'm in the same situation than LoneWanderer above. On top of that, I first had a message from support saying "no problem if you obtained just one weapon, we'll exchange this one", then when I inquired later about when the exchange would be made, "oops sorry about the previous communication, that was a mistake and we can only exchange both weapons"...

My proposal is that both weapons should be made available for gold on the BM shop, and send gold compensation to players having filed tickets. How hard can that be ?

I try to put myself in DECA's shoes, and I actually deal with customer issues in my job, but when/if you understand your customer's frustration, why don't you just do something about it ???

Thank you very much for the weapons. I have been very critical about things since DECA took over, but this is at least one small step in mending fences with the community. And thank you for not taking my previous, fully upgraded, versions and my 500 gold as well. This was the correct thing to do. Now, do this for everyone in the community that requests it whether they have the campaign versions in their inventory or not. Thank you.

Same situation as lone wanderer and
nonoski. Gonna wait until the 10th before passing judgment. They should replace the shotgun even if you didn’t obtain the pole axe. Ridiculous!
