Celebrating that DECA games took over the game, I think it would be important that they are already familiar with certain bugs that happen in the game these days. Some of them have been in the game for millennia, others were discovered recently. We hope these bugs are fixed soon!

Let's break this list down into priorities: 4 is the highest priority, which should be fixed ASAP as it's a vital game mechanic. 1 is the low priority, bugs that existed for a long time, and is not so relevant for some people. But remember! All bugs are critical and must be reviewed.

You can get a lot of information with The Walking Dead: No Man's Land Wiki!

Bug List— The Walking dead: No Man’s Land

Badges

Badge Display Bug 1 — Priority 1

When the main percentage -2 is a multiple of 8, the displayed bonus is off by 1, but the actual effect is not affected.

Example: 18%+5% is shown as 18%+4%, but it works as 18+5% in the game. Same with 10%+4%, that is shown as 10%+3%.

Badge Display Bug 2 — Priority 1

When the badge is under the effect of the set bonus, the value shown is rounded down and shows no difference in its bonus, but the values are actually not rounded and its bonus is influenced.

Ex:17%+4% under the effect of the set bonus is shown as 20%+4%, but the actual value is 17%+4% × 1.2 = 20.4%+4.8%.

Badge Bonus Condition Not Working — Priority 2
As mentioned in Bonus badge “survivor's mission teammate is Sniper Morgan” don't work! — DECA Games, there are some bonus conditions that don't activate even if the condition is fulfilled.

Hero-Survivors

Tyreese Circles — Priority 4

Explanation made by Z-Xer.

1. A second movement point is always allowed when walker can enter a buff with 1 movement point then exit again immediately using a 2nd movement point. This includes the case when there are 2 overlapping or intersecting circles.

1.1. This mostly happens when a walker only needs to pass through a circle's “corner” by making 1 or 2 diagonal moves to get to you. Usually, when the walker enters a circle, it will stop after entering the circle. However, when it enters the circle then calculates its next target tile is outside the circle, it will spend its 2nd movement point.

1.2. Strangely enough, it also happens when there are 2 overlapping or intersecting circles. If a walker makes straight / non-diagonal movement into a circle, often that means it will stop inside that circle because its 2nd movement point would put it inside the same circle. But when there are overlapping or intersecting circles, it somehow thinks it will leave that circle because the next tile belongs to that 2nd circle.

2. A second movement point is always allowed when the first movement point goes through another stationary walker (stunned / rooted / wandering or otherwise stationary)
3. A second movement point is sometimes (usually?) allowed when a walker inside the buff is targeted by overwatch or pretaliate after making 1 movement point.
4. The “pile up” problem, where multiple walkers can occupy the same spot. This happens when any conditions 1 or 2 or 3 above is satisfied, but then the route is occupied. Of course, this is the wrong final location target in the first place because the walker knows that it should make a stop after spending 1 movement point.

Michonne’s Leader Trait not giving action point after charged attacks — Priority 3

When we attack a walker using our Charge attacks, we can’t get any action points coming from Michonne’s Leader Trait. This was not supposed to happen.

Michonne’s Leader Trait giving action point after Mercer's charge attacks — Priority 3

Michonne's Leader Trait was supposed to not work with Ranged Survivor's (Shooters, Assaults, and Hunters), but we discovered that Mercer's Charge attack are giving actions points to him, with wouldn't make any sense.

Michonne’s Leader Trait Threat Reduction not being affected by Lucky — Priority 3

Lately, we've noticed that the Threat Reduction caused by Michonne's Leader Trait isn't being affected by Lucky, as it should be. This issue ends up influencing our choice a lot when selecting Michonne for our team, since it is a big nerf for her.

Connie’s Leader Trait in lead not gaining 2 charge points if close to 1 survivor  — Priority 3

With Connie as the Leader, when she is next to a survivor, both of them get influenced by Connie's Leader Trait, in theory, giving for each survivor, a chance to get 2 charge points at once. But there are no records of this actually happening.

Walkers attacking in hard corners — Priority 4

There are reports that Walkers can attack other survivors even if it's a hard corner, which was not supposed to happen.

Itens-Equipments

Burning making free-men die in one turn — Priority 3

If you attack a human enemy so that its first health bar is exhausted AND put it on fire at the same time, it will die either from the next attack or when fire damage is applied at the start of its turn.

Mercer’s Axe not interrupting — Priority 3

There are some reports of the Mercer’s Axe not interrupting walkers, which shouldn’t be possible because, according to the Special Functionality, this weapon has guaranteed interrupt.

Example: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/576001143096999936/1085607396971393044/XRecorder_Edited_15032023_195151.mp4

Razor secret Damage Buff — Priority 2

In 2020, we discovered that the Razor trait gives you a Damage boost of 4%, which was not supposed to happen, since Razor was not supposed to give you any damage boost.

Game mode related

Guild Wars: Bad Internet Connection making the game not to register an End of the mission — Priority 3

It sometimes happens that you (usually due to bad network reception) flee/finish a mission, without the game registering that you actually left the mission. This means that the blue dot is showing you playing the mission, while being on the main screen yourself.
Occasionally, this is fixed by itself by simply waiting for the game to reconnect and resolve the problem, sometimes nothing helps and you or someone else needs to redo the mission, and you end up losing a sword.

Hwacha's Circle not appearing in Last Stand — Priority 2

Reported by Jubjab.
Hwacha, a support, needs to be manually targeted to the ground for his ability to take effect. For this, a large red circle is highlighted, symbolizing the area that Hwacha will take effect.

But, in Last Stand, this red circle doesn't appear in the map. It's invisible.

Screen missing information after you return of Guild Wars Tab — Priority 2

In some cases, if you are on the Guild Wars screen, and you press the back button, sometimes the screen glitches and doesn't show the information it should.

Game Mechanics

Walkers attacking over the fence — Priority 4

In this last update, a bug appeared in which walkers started attacking survivors even between fences, which was not supposed to happen. This bug is a grave issue that breaks certain purposes of the map and, consequently, spoils the strategy of many survivors.

Survivor movement being larger than expected at the start of the mission — Priority 2

We got some cases that some survivor's movement at the beginning of the mission is larger that it was supposed to be.

Rooted Walkers attacking the wrong survivor — Priority 2

There are cases where the rooted walker is attacking the wrong survivor, according to the target priority system.

An example: https://youtu.be/aBTwQJSU-6c?t=87

At 1:27, the walker was supposed to hit Tyreese, but for some reason, he attacks Ezekiel instead.

My theory is that is related to whom the rooted walker was targeting previously (in the last round). If the same survivor was next to her for more than 1 round in a row, he will attack the target. (not confirmed)

Hwacha is also bugged. Hwacha is not very useful, but it could be quite good in Last Stand with stun/Zeke wall tactics. Unfortunately Hwacha seems to require that you place it (invisibly) on the ground on an unoccupied tile. If no free tiles are available next to the hero using Hwacha, you can't place it at all.

The mechanics of it should be changed so it doesn't require that you "drag a line from survivor to target" but rather so it works like grenades or flares, which can be thrown in any occasion.

Another bug you can add to the list is the bug with fire in pvp. If a survivor catches fire and takes damage that would bring him to red health, he is left at 1hp in green health instead and he’ll instantly die next time he takes damage. I think any sourcr of damage will kill him. This bug makes it less interesting to invest in guild wars defenders.

I'm bumping this thread in hope of getting the attention of DECA. Walkers attacking over fences are really annoying.
