New Melee Weapon Trait: Reach

It’s been mentioned before but a few things have changed since last time. Now DECA are in the driving seat I’m hoping they can put something similar to this idea into action.
It’s practically impossible to make an infused melee weapon which has any kind of use besides something for an absolute beginner. But any beginners who are being well advised aren’t spending their very limited amounts of RP on a weak melee weapon, so really they don’t have any place at all.
The problem is regular weapons for bruisers and scouts can only attack one target at a time with uncharged attacks and there’s no combination of traits which can make up for that.
You guys already have all the mechanics you need to make weapons from these classes attack more enemies. Why not put it on as a weapon trait? It could go…
bronze: two targets
silver: three targets
gold: five targets
Its still not going to produce anything to rival a Riot Shield or Mercer’s Axe but it’ll make infused melee weapons interesting and if the trait can drop on a random crate weapon then it could produce some interesting results.
I can’t figure out how to bring this into relevance for special weapons though? Anyone have any ideas?
Newer special weapons are targeting more and more enemies, how about the regular weapons are given a chance to improve too?

How about a bruiser weapon with…
Silver First Strike
Gold Reach (3 targets)
Gold Razor
Infused Concussion
I think that’s a better weapon than any of the staffs or sticks for bruisers in the black market
Or for scouts…
Silver Reach (2 targets)
Gold First Strike
Gold Destructive
Infused Threat Reduction -
