@Jeroen any chance we can get half priced Distance resets during the event? My memory is fuzzy, but I think that used to be a thing.

It would not only be great for the participants who fail with the required team on their first attempt, but it would also make this more of a community event for the entire player base.

I'm willing to ask the team, but since this is an event organized by the community for fun and nothing official I wouldn't be surprised if my team says that resources within the game have to be utilized as how they are right now

It's hard to understand these people criticizing instead of bringing suggestions and ideas to improve the event. We rarely see a game supporting an event organized by players and still contributing prizes as an incentive. I hope it's a success, because I'll be there not for the prize but for the experience. The DMCI will run in GW season breaks. The first cup will start on May 22 and finish on June 12, 2023 (3 weeks total). Participants sign up for the event via google forms (link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSe8WDC--S1Oyh5zDxDBKFuYOG024rERVNgtD5VZ-l_YTrCOhw/viewform?usp=sf_link) and join our event chats on Discord, LINE, and/or Telegram.

I love this concept, but the next time we do it, ask DECA to give out like 1 Connie Token for each level completed with the team and a bonus token if done without tools. That way, those who want to play and have no realistic chance of being in the Top 5 will have an incentive to play and do all the work needed to prove they did it. Just my 2 cents.

If the event organizers can give me a calculation of how many tokens this would cost us, we could look into this suggestion.

@massheadspace we've sent you several friend requests on discord, which you please need to answer, so we can invite you.

@capibara we are not sharing it publicly, because it's a whole lot of work for us admins to then have to check back if all in the server are actually registered etc. This is not unusual for community events. everyone who registers AND provides us with correct contact info/reacts to our attempts to reach out is then invited to the server. and the registration is open to anyone ;-)
