Should spending auto-removed gold come with a warning?

If you go to purchase something in the game and you do not have enough of the currency, should there be a popup which warns you about spending gold? 

Better yet, should there be a toggle in the game settings and options screen which enables a "you are about to spend gold" warning pop up?

    I lost over 1500 gold on a misclick when trying to purchase the 4 reroll tokens in the shop. They used to be available only on Fridays for the weekend, which meant I had banked plenty of trade goods by then. Now they are also appearing on Wednesday, at the start of the challenge, when my trade goods are empty. I have always purchased out the shop, for years, and so I don't have some massive hoard of trade goods. Now I don't have any gold either because of a purchase misclick since DECA changed the game. Support won't refund me my gold from this misclick. 

    So I'm done. I don't need this constant headache of a syphon sucking slowly saved up gold out of my account because of HORRENDOUS trade ratios. These garbage conversion rates are found everywhere throughout the game. DECA can keep their game and push out very long term players with their fantastic strategy of player support failure. The player support person told me they do not even have access to change currency amounts or check the history of spending. Gee huh... guess they changed. One at a time, that's how we leave. It happens one by one.

    I'll still watch the community discord.

    You always get a confirmation with what you are paying: https://youtu.be/fqhmpV47y9w. I don't think it makes sense to an an extra one. Adding an option to turn off the conversion or changing the conversion rate could certainly make sense though.

    Yeah, I think the pop up to buy missing resources is fair enough.

    How about the popup to buy these radios for 99 cents? I would've done it. But deca has my 1500 gold and wants to remain turdmuffins over it. So no. I'm not giving them a few dollars. I would have. Oh well. 1 less future customer.

    It almost worked. Except it didn't.
