Are workshop upgrades worth it?

I'm at player level 18 and my workshop is at level 2. How do I know if my weapons need repair and are the workshop upgrades worth it? Thanks.

You dont repair weapons. You upgrade it.. and higher level weapons need higher level workshop.

You need to upgrade your workshop!!! Upgrading your equipment is as important as upgrading your survivors. Without upgraded equipment, the game will become much harder for you to advance much further in Episodes and accumulating stars in the weekly contest.

I agree with headhunter, but be wise with your XP. weapons upgrades can bu just as costly as Survivor lvls up.

To give you an idea. My Workshop is lvl 7 and I can upgrade gear to lvl 9.

Weapons have abilities that you unlock when you upgrade the weapon. You need the workshop to match the level of the weapon. So if you have a lvl 9 weapon that you want to upgrade, then you need a workshop lvl 7.

Keep in mind also that the weapons have a "lvl X survivor needed."

Thanks. I guess I was thinking of the old WD game that was on Facebook, where the weapons would deteriorate over time and needed repair.

Thank God they dont.. bit i think guns need to be limited with bullets. For example; 1 reload can do 3 missions. After that, you need to go to workshop again to reload it for a certain xp or tomato price.

I too hope they don't add a deterioration for the weapons and I am glad there isn't an ammo limit.

If they did add an ammo limit, I'd hope that it wasn't during a mission but in between. And Maybe instead of XP or Tomatoes, it could "X" amount of time.
