Tips needed for upgrading survivors

All my survivors are level 20. The level I need to get to before being able to train them again jumped by A LOT. I think it was something like going fron level 52 to 59. I just barely got to 57 and that's taken me MONTHS. That it can take 1 or 2 days to upgrade a building without spending gold seems ridiculous since it takes enough time already just to accumulate the millions in food or experience points. At lower levels you just needed to get through 3-4 levels before training up your survivors again. Is there a better or faster way I'm just missing? Any tips are appreciated!

    Yes, there is a big gap between upgrading your training grounds etc. at that level.

    There no way to speed things up other than spending a lot of gold.

    My advice would be to be patient and use Glenn in lead as much as possible.

    You'll get there. The good thing is once you get past the slog to 59 the next two council upgrades are close together, 61 and 63 if I remember rightly. You'll still need many, many millions of supplies tho but since it's double supplies this weekend now is your oppurtinity if you can spare the time and $2 for a booster. It can be gruelling but every hour you spend grinding on a double supply weekend saves you an hour of game time in future :smile:

    Edit to add to the above, if you are on a booster try using the Governor in lead, his leader trait is better if you're flying through scavenge missions on a booster

    Thanks you two. I feel A LITTLE BETTER (lol!) knowing next upgrade gap is not so large. And good advice. I'll try to be patient!

    I Too am Level 59 with all buildings maxed, I'm actually holding off going to council 20 until i have my main survivors Equipment all upgraded as @TJS says

    I started playing 6th Feb '17 and Rushed too much upgrading council & found it a struggle doing parts of the game with weak sub level equipment, I've started to keep the level 21 Legendary equipment in preparation to next level
