Promote 4 star or wait for perfect 5?

Assuming you are:
1) mid level and still grinding and;
2) aren't spending a ton of money and don't have a ton of 5 star survivors...

Is it worth upgrading a 4 star survivor with perfect traits to see if that 5th trait will make or break him? Or is it better to just save and save for a really great 5 star survivor?

    I just got a perfect shooter from an epic one. Sometimes your lucky others not. Getting a legendary with perfect traits is a really long shot.

    Absolutely. But is it better to Promote a 4 star or wait for the 5? I mean, promoting 4 stars is also going to take time and be a long shot, right?

    I've always been against promoting 4 to 5 to avoid disappointment.

    But now all of my best A team survivors are from that kind of gamble.

    It seems to have better odds to happen even if they're quite low to get what you'd expect.

    Depends if you have enough tokens for a straight promotion, I gambled on mine as he had 4 perfect traits so I scrapped another good but not perfect shooter and got lucky with the last one.

    It depends on your luck, I've never had a call with a legendary survivor who didn't have at least one bad trait. I think you'll be waiting forever to get a good survivor per class without taking a gamble on a few.

    You'll be waiting forever to find a legendary that rolls perfect traits. I've always started from 3 or 4* survivors. Comes down to luck.
