OK fair point you technically lose stars (same for others playing those rounds) but I REALLY want to understand your position and rationale here.
If the rewards were the same would you rather play to 10,000 individual stars to get the same rewards? Could have 20 rounds per lvl and require multiple boosters and dedicated round the clock playing for same rewards. That or make it unlimited lvl 32 rounds and the person who can play the most will get more stars.
The rounds use to be 1 per lvl at one point. Can you explain how having 2 rounds per lvl is "an absolute luxury issue" as oppose to having 3 rounds? I ask because I GENUINELY want to understand your position here. As I understand more stars are what you are looking for without regard to rewards or the rest. Correct?

I reach my own wall without booster and problems and without buying weapons.
No matter how you turn it, there are less stars for me.
And complete exaggeration is not the true argument.

@leuchte123 - I think the point is that stars are a “means to an end”, namely earning rewards. As long as the rewards are adjusted accordingly, It doesn’t matter if they halve the stars, or multiply them by 10 - every player would be affected in the same way.
If they gave out 10 stars instead of 1 in the current format, so you got 10, 20 or 30 for completing a level, would that make you or any other player happier? It wouldn’t make any difference. You would still have the same performance relative to everyone in your guild any beyond. -
Idk if I'm thinking wrong here but I usually get to 36-37 so I will lose 1 round pass and thus start at a lower level. Those who get to 40 and above will lose more.

Star count doesn't matter, so long as the rewards are adjusted accordingly.

First of all Vane's suggestion is a huge improvement altough i would love to see even more grind reduction. Thanks for the idea still.
As far as i understood from the complaints, awarding double or triple stars will solve all the problems.
If we complete a mission without getting bruised, we get 6 stars instead of 3. We get a reward e.g. at 100 stars instead of 50

I normally don’t chime in on these because to me stars don’t matter other than having “fun” but you have a group of players saying things are too easy and it takes too long to get to the “fun” part and another group of players saying things get too difficult, too fast and the “fun” ends too fast.
Any permanent change should balance these two groups.
The triple rounds are a chore for some and “fun” for the others.
Please respect each other’s point of views, just because you don’t understand it doesn’t make it wrong.
Let’s keep the positivity that @Kaz started on the forum.
Don’t make @Vane regret taking over for Kaz.
P.S. since we are talking about history of the game, does anyone remember when we used to have 2 challenges a week?

The challenge getting too difficult too quickly is valid and understandable to me. I was a bit fuzzy on what "an absolute luxury issue" was but I think I get it now. Thought maybe it was about just seeing a larger number of stars regardless of the circumstances and perhaps I took it as a stab to those who wanted reduced grind but I think I get it now.
Either way nobody is right or wrong it really comes down to a preference. Just wanted to know if I was agreeing or disagreeing but seems like if it is a difficultly argument I can understand and agree. If it is a star count only argument I disagree with it being an absolute luxury issue.
My bad on the perceived negative tone. I really was trying to understand so I could properly respond but I mucked it up...
It has been a bad forum week for me. I'll bounce back and try being more understanding of other peoples feelings.
And BTW I remember when 400 stars was a milestone. 1k too but now it is a minimum in a lot of guilds! Lmao -
Apologies if I came across as being negative. Personally, I’m in favour of reducing the challenge to free up more time to play other game modes (example, I spend all my gas on the challenge, so only play distance when we get a free booster, would like to do it more). That’s just my opinion, but I know not everybody is of the same opinion, and I do respect different opinions. So - sorry if I didn’t get that across very well

Just kidding. A good balance like zbot was saying is best. I am thinking that adjusting how we can earn and use Round Passes (as @Bill_ZRT had mentioned before) would provide the best balance but this is a good step in the right direction (IMO)! -

I would really like to see the challenge reworked totally. Maybe have the option to earn four or five stars on a map, by going in with two or one survivors. Might make the easy early levels a bit more interesting. Or some extra bonus stars on each round for completing a map with certain conditions (for example, use three warriors).
But whatever, that’s just my opinion. Will be interesting to see how it develops -

There are so many great ideas brought forward when the discussion turns away from an “us vs. them” theme.
For many, it’s not the stars, it is just about being able to enjoy the game.

I think this is placebo effect all over again.
Less rounds, less passes, we will be starting earlier and playing more or less the same as ever.
I wish NG would step up and say loud and clear that there will never be a "fix" to this instead of tricking us over and over. -

I agree! Remove the .3 rounds the same week as having Archives, Fish in a barrel and behind corners. What a way to really cut the grind down! -
