@Vane, could you be so kind to clarify how Victory Points (VP) and Reward Points (RP) are granted to players and their guild when the players complete the same mission in Guild Wars.
For example, the mission has 16 VP as 8 RP as the rewards.
PlayerA and PlayerB have completed the same mission. PlayerA has finished first.
Victory Points (16) Reward Points (8)
PlayerA
PlayerB
The guild X

@TJS, do you mean not only RP but also VP? And what about the guild score? Do the results of both players affect the guild score (32 instead of 16)?

I believe both players get VP/RP for completing the mission. This is one of the worst things about guild wars. There is no co-ordination needed between teammates over who does what to conserve gas. It's just spam, spam, spam the missions. It's just about speed and the amount of gas you have.

I don't disagree with @Wellyluga but... There would be lots of matches ending in ties when jr guilds all finish junkyard and stop lol.

Also, those players that go fast, would still go fast, and leave no VP/RP for the rest of the team. Hate and chaos would erupt.

@Vane, any help would be very appreciated! Helpshift doesn't mention this and we actually have no official info about such cases.
We should somehow develop a strategy but don't even know such basic things.

    @msapaev

    Sorry for my late reply.

Yes. Both players will get both VP & RP for completing same mission. Therefore the guild will get 32 instead of 16 VP as in your example.

This is why I'm not a game developer . I've just not got a lot of love for the game mode the way it's scored now. I don't know what changes NG has up their sleeve, if any, but I hope they have something planned.

    During my testing, I found:

On normal missions, both players received the same number of VP.

On enemy missions, only the first to finish received the elevated number of VP.
Anyone else that finished the enemy mission received the number of VP that they would get from a non-enemy mission. The game still showed the elevated amount on the post-mission screen. But, on the scoreboard, the score increased by the lesser amount.
