Jerry Overdue for Call

Is nextgames ever going to do another Jerry call? It's been months and Jerry is one of the best characters.
Why is he in the game if his tokens can only be earned through season missions?

Can we at least periodically make every hero attainable?

    Well his leader trait pretty much sucks but I have to agree that his tokens are rarer than an albino unicorn. He’s the only hero in my stable that isn’t legendary or better. A 2x call would seem appropriate based on how neglected he’s been.

    His leader trait sucks?!? I'll take 50% Damage reduction any day of the week! Sure Michonne is better in most scenarios but I think Jerry had one of the most versitile leader traits in the game!

    Bring him on a lvl 40 map without being maxed in damage reduction badges and see how that works out for him. Also his leader trait only kicks in when he is damaged and if he is the leader everyone has to be touching Jerry to benefit from his trait. Yeah I'll stand by his leader trait sucks. Will take Mullet time any day of the week.

    Jerry is so bad dude... Sooooooooo bad. Pretty sure if he's not the most useless, he's gotta be bottom 2 or 3?

    Jerry's leader trait had a very high chance to do absolutely nothing.

    Other leaders who's traits have a chance to go nothing,

    Nothing.

    Michonne, Riot Glenn, Sasha, Bruiser Morgan, Eugene, Carl, etc.

    Their abilities only activate occasionally.

    If y'all don't see the value of damage reduction you should give it a try sometime. Jerry is a baller, I'll acknowledge he isn't top 5 in the game but I enjoy using him, and I ain't alone.

    @Cronus I saw those videos and was impressed... However... Who is to say that is exclusive to Rufus only? Surely it could be achieved with Sasha moreso, someone who typically has a higher damage output and a faster rate of charging than Rufus. I claim J and R to be the same because I don't respect either one of them. I just can't change my mind on the matter!

    I think most people do value damage reduction hence why they load their teams up with DR badges. These work 100% of the time with no conditions. Once you’ve done this Jerry’s trait is absolutely ridiculous, it needs to be changed to 35% chance of bodyshot (which will stack with hazard suit) then he would be slightly useful....

    You're not wrong, but the risk reward is nowhere near equal.

    The above heroes usefulness has been highlighted in great detail, all over the forum. I don't think I need to defend that?

    Even 2nd Lieutenant Outpost Captain Carl Grimes has his usefulness.

    But...

    If you're taking advantage of Jerry's leader trait, that means you've not invested much other defense in him or his teammates right?

    So... Risk reward...

    If you're in a mission with enemies 10-levels higher than your team, say vs level 35 walkers... What's happens 65% of them time when ol' Jerry's trait fails?

    Hopefully you're all stocked up on wrestler armor. ;-)

    Sounds nice in theory, like Eugene leader trait, but at the end it's more or less the same leaders which are in lead vs high level walkers.

    SR, Sasha, RGG for me 90% of the time.

    Occasionally Aaron, Morgan, HD and Michonne. Depending on the mission.

    Carlito as an outpost leader (he's annoying as fuck there lol).

    Sometimes still Abe/Jesus, used to use them much more in the past though.

    @Urbanjesus If you are still leveling and don't have any badges, I can understand why you find him useful. For end gamers though, he is useless.

    I know how useful all those heros are, that's why I listed them, many are my favs!

    Just because jerry doesn't make my A team doesn't mean I don't love using him as a leader for mid level distance, before I bring out my big guns. Or in Outpost missions, why not

    Jerry is a fun hero and those who say he's useless at endgame are just wrong, I'm max level, I have every hero 5 starsand still can't get enough Jerry.

    @Firekid is totally right though, changing it to body shot would be better!

    Still no call though, we wait...

    @Urbanjesus Depends how you define end game. Up to a certain level there is no need for good badges, tactics and heroes. You can use whatever you enjoy. For my play style and at high challenge levels, your options are more limited if you want to progress.

    Challenge isn't the only game mode though. You can bench Jerry in the challenge starting around level 30 walkers (as I do) and still clean up with Jerry in distance, Outpost, or scavenge missions

    @Urbanjesus As @Firekid said, if they change his trait from damage reduction to bodyshot, he will be very good. But, with his current trait you can't risk using him and relying on his trait for high levels.

    I use him at the distance after I've charged up everyone, due to his other traits(strong, ruthless) with a damage/critical damage badge set, again not as a leader.

    Don't get me wrong, I enjoy using unusual tactics and combinations in order to progress. If you lack in survivors/gear/badges, you have to make due with what you have and try to utilize everything in your disposal.
