We fixed several different ways to unfairly abuse some game systems in this update, and we will keep on monitoring the situation with it and working on improving the experience and fair play for No Man's Land players. -
@Vane, Maggies defensive stance trait ruins her, is there any chance of changing that for marksman? Personally I will not bother purchasing the tokens as she is.

Agreed. Defensive stance on a shooter makes non sense at all. -

Or lucky, since she has a luck based LT. What's the obsession with sure shot too, Sniper Morgan would be so much better if that was replaced for either lucky/marksman.
Give Maggie marksman, ruthless, lucky and revenge and you'd have people selling kidneys for Maggie tokens. As she is now I couldn't care less for her tokens. -
Hmmm, for new Maggie to be universally useful then I agree - defensive stance is a very poor trait.
What I think NG have tried to do is create her to be used for taking out defenders in GW (and outpost). Defensive stance makes her less vulnerable when left in overwatch vs. onrushing human defenders while the extra action points are perfect when counterattacking defenders. On that basis, I can kinda see what they might have been aiming for.
Keeping the peace - double taps against defenders OR taking out very high level enemies in Distance
Revenge - best defensive trait against onrushing human enemies
Sure shot - arguably works well with the over-watch based traits like DS
Defensive stance - good for that first turn as you set up overwatched defenders, esp against hunters/shooters
Ruthless - weirdly I think this one sits least well with the other traits above as it's hard/time wasting to charge up in GW
Vigilant would have made sense IMO. Marksman or Lucky to make her a better all rounder.
Hell, even bullet dodge might have rounded off the other 4 skills better (don't shoot me). The only reason I can see Ruthless is for using that hero skill for taking out lv41/42 special walkers in the Distance. -
@DrUnpleasant Sure shot only works on your turn and so doesn't work whilst in overwatch. Having those two traits is a waste as you can only use one or the other.
Good points about GW, I suppose you could attack using sure shot and then if her trait triggers you could put her in overwatch after that. Very situational though. -
Aye, and I was thinking about situations where you could arm with an interrupt weapon in overwatch, then when the enemy runs into your field you stop them - then use sure shot + keeping the peace to kill them off at the start of the next round.WellyLuga said:@DrUnpleasant Sure shot only works on your turn and so doesn't work whilst in overwatch. It's good that Maggie has defensive stance. Only non heroes should be perfect unicorns.

Just got around to looking at the council update, and it only increases the XP storage by 750K ? That’s weak.

Not very FileZilla happy for the duplication of Maggie who left the Rufusseries although temporarily UC Browser..
