Sure Shot doesn't work in overwatch.

Then which one is better for Sasha?

Vigilant as it provides more damage without upping the chances of a critical hit.

    Neither one.
On high RSL levels you want to charge Sasha ASAP, so:
    1. You don't leave her on overwatch because she'll hit only one target, so Vigilant is a waste.
    2. You want to use rife which maximizes number of Body Shots (golden luck and caliber), so you will not receive critical shot, so Sure Shot is a waste.

And on a charged shot critical is guaranteed for a hunter, so Sure Shot is a waste again.

But in rare cases when you have no better rifle than gold luck, gold caliber and silver piercing Sure Shot is better for Sasha than Vigilant.

    I hope it helps in re-rolling. 😉

It depends on your playstyle really. If you don't use piercing and play to a high level, sureshot is wasted. If you stand in one spot and use a piercing rifle then it's a great trait to have. Vigilant is nice for some maps where you don't want to create threat or attract too many walkers. I don't think it's right to say neither is useful.

That being said, with all of the re-roll tokens in the world ruthless, lucky and revenge are all more useful traits than those two if you are thinking of re-rolling.

Hunter Overwatch attacks can hit multiple targets if enemies are lined up properly.

Vigilant as it provides more damage without upping the chances of a critical hit.

What would be the problem with a critical hit?
You know a body-shot can not be a critical hit?
So critical hits don't make the leadertrait work less!

Or did I mis something here?

So sure shot helps you gain a crit. Your aim may be to keep threat down but do round about normal damage by using overwatch. You may want a body shot to help gain a charge point instead of doing increased damage.
I would argue that having gold piercing on weapon and ruthless on Sasha would help once you aim to use charges on that mission.

I understand keeping the threat down. That is a reason to have vigilant and do overwatch.

What I don't understand is why you wouldn't want a critical hit. Do note, when you do get a critical hit, you would not get any more body-shots without sure-shot. Just regular hits that aren't body-shots.

From my perspective, you've got an option of body shot, regular shot and critical shot. Unless the crit is a kill, no charge point is gained. Unless the regular shot is a kill, no charge point is gained. So already 2 out of 3 types of shots require a kill to gain a charge. It makes sense in my head! Maybe I am spewing the ramblings of a mad man.

Sure-shot can only work when an attack is NOT a body-shot

When without piercing and against high level walkers.
    --> Sure-shot does literally nothing.
Not bad, not good. Just nothing.

When using piercing and against high level walkers.
--> critical damage makes you kill walkers a lot faster then regular hits do.

    My point is this.

You'll get the same amount of body-shots with or without sure-shot.
