Master missions are useless!

Stupidest thing ever! After round passes, the very first mission I hit the Master Mission. My guys are only level 24. It brought me to enemy level 29 for the mission. That’s my max level I can barely get through with 1 Star! I’ll never use the Master mission and it only took one use in the very first mission to realize it!
Dumb! Stupid! Useless!

    Under the Skip button it says what level it'll be, so it shouldn't be a surprise.

    The choice is there, same as normal or skip, nobody is forcing you.

    My survivors are lvl22 and i also get lvl29 walkers. Maybe i shouldnt push the one useless surivor to pink while leveling..

    It will be the most useful for after a vacation when you lose your RP's. If you don't use the master stage then the challenge is the same as before, so nothing really to complain about.

    Well for starters, my guild is freaking awesome. We have chats where everyone helps everyone, so if you’re not in a good long term guild, find one!!!

    Then YouTube videos. It’s usually maxed out players fighting rsl 40+ which isn’t even close to our level lol but the points still apply

    @Overgrowdaworld I'm in a similar boat to some of the other posters on here, level 22 toons, up against level 30s via MM. I made a video where I faced level 38 walkers recently. I'm by no means a top player, but I implement strategies formed around being an underdog. Not the best equipment or levels, but I make it work. Check out some more experienced ced players on Youtube and mix with the community to learn how to improve your game.

    It really doesnt help to watch videos loaded with pay to win weapons that change the game completely how its played :(

    The fact is you have a choice either play mm or don't I think it's a step to the right direction maybe lower it to 4 or 5

    @reekookr there's videos from ftp players too, yes weapons give an advantage but it's not as big as you think. Tactics are most important.

    The game isn't P2W tho. Premium weapons don't give you a MASSIVE boost in ability, in fact, I have a few F2P in my team who score amongst the highest. 2000+ sometimes. Externalising the issue will not help you improve yoir game. Watch videos from players who are F2P but play mid to high range in difficulty.
    I used to find it tough to score among low tier PL72 players but now I can fare much better thru dedication.

    I love the skips, but I think it should not skip ahead so many levels
    I was done skipping in just a short amount of time
    After about 8 skips I went back to single maps

    MM were designed to cut the grind of doing 20+ rounds to get to the meat of the challenge. If you are only doing 10 rounds the grind is minimal so the MM are not for you. My guess is you probably need the resources from playing all the maps anyway since your account is still growing.

    Many in my guild are saying the skip jumps too many levels.
    How about multiple buttons choices?
    Jump 2, 4 or 6 levels

    You could jump 6 at first, then as the missions get harder, jump 4, then jump 2

    Are you apart of any groups on Line app? Those are information and video treasure troves. Some have audio commentary and many people are willing to explain their tactics.

    I feel I have a pretty good lineup, and strategy. I just feel 6 levels is to much per MM.
    It should be 3 or 4. I only get to mission level 29-30 in the challenges. So if I use the first MM I’m already at my max limit.

    Sometimes there are maps (MM) that are difficult to 3 star.. so on those I just play through all the maps.. but a lot of times there are relatively easy maps that you can 3 star at high level, that’s when I use the option!

    Several times I’ve played through all maps 2-3 rounds and then was able to play a MM!
    Have to just use them whenever they make the most sense!

    It's true Mate, you're not actually "losing" any crates at all, if anything you're getting more stuff for free.

    Follow my logic for a moment...

    Let's say normally you start your challenge,...

    Let's say your starting gas cost is 4
    - You do 6 missions
    - You will spend 4 x 6 = 24 gas
    - You collect 3 x 6 post mission crates
    - You also collect several challenge rewards, gear, tokens, etc

    Now let's say instead you do ONE Master Mission instead...

    - You do one mission
    - You spend 8 gas
    - You collect 3 x 1 post mission crates
    - You collect the same amount of challenge rewards, gear, tokens, etc
    - You still have a bunch of gas left to spend on scavenge, Outpost raids, season missions, etc (or more challenge missions if you choose to progress)

    Please note that scavenge missions are WAY more rewarding than challenge missions .
