Game set me to different locality?

I used to be in us local and know I am in Brazil local. I have been learning Portuguese so my phone is now set up for Portuguese as default language. Dont want to get kicked from game or something.

@Fluxxx this is really fustrating that NG can't fix this. I have the same problem, my locale is set to Hungary where I'm from, but I like to set my phones language to english. But if I do that the game puts me to the us or uk leaderboards.
This is android ONLY. It is reported to be working on apple. This should be the easiest fix in programming history ...

I'm with Android, living in Bulgaria, my phone is set to English and I'm in Bulgarian leaderboard, so the problem should be somewhere else.

@zbot the only way to get back to the Hungarian boards is if I set back the lagnuage to Hungarian

@tjhookr hmm, I'll have to double check on my android device, on iOS, you change region but leave language as is and it changes your country in the game.

My google play is set to my current address and nation. Must be a game issue. I know others have this same thing happen. Guess it is Brazil list I belong to know. O mues deus key Portuguese vai vai improvar

I go to US leaderboard when I play on Bluestacks. Can't set location there.
When using my iPhone my location is correctly in Brazil.
NG needs better know-how on this stuff. -
It is true that on iOS your region in the game is decided based on the region in your phone, whereas on Android it's the language. Not sure why this happens. I don't think I can promise this getting fixed by next update but will keep this on a post-it until it is fixed
