help with trait re-rolling

I've so far off-topic Rosita's, Jesus's & Glenn's Bullet dodge, & decided to keep Dwight's bullet dodge, so what trait is the least popular trait amongst you lot?
Cheers

Bullet dodge on any class (except Dwight and Merle) and any offensive trait on a bruiser needs to go.

Not exactly sure how to link specific posts, but in this thread the fourth and fifth posts will be most helpful to you.

You shouldn't think of it that way. You should think of which heroes you need to win at the hardest levels, and reroll their suboptimal traits. Rosita and Scout Glenn are both useless at hard levels so it's a waste of tokens to reroll them.Scottie said:Can I ask you guys for some help pleasea? I find myself getting rid of iron skin more and more these days. The survivors who have damage builds don't need it and the ones that have defensive builds I can get to 80% with 3 badges, armour and tactical.
Traits like vigilant, bullet dodge, defensive stance and sureshot are pretty much non-existent in my camp now. -
Vigilant for scout (spear/musket) and warrior (dragon tongue) is pretty decent though.WellyLuga said:I find myself getting rid of iron skin more and more these days. Dragon Tongue has tactical so I don't use it much in overwatch. But for regular kingdom spear vigilant could be nice. Only problem is that you also want Strong-Ruthless-Lucky-Power Strike-Follow Through so that's already one trait too much for a hero.Johnbert said:

Yeah I know, I have it on an 8* scout/warrior. I did say pretty much, I think other than that I have it on hunter Maggie/Morgan, Shooter Rick and Tara but that's itJohnbert said:

Thanks @FireKid, @Burleiinis, @TJCart, @WellyLuga & @Johnbert for your feedback, & helpful advice.
Many thanks @Scottie -

I'm not understanding the logic anymore behind getting rid of IS on bruisers/assaults. If you need IS on armor, you're going to have to sacrifice an armor trait such as dodge, hazard, health etc. How does that work out better? -

Bruiser/assault heroes only have 4 traits free and there are 4 really desirable traits in dodge, lucky, retaliate and punish/revenge. If you get rid of IS then you don't have to sacrifice one of the big 4. I have both classes badged the same with 3 DR/Health and can get to max DR with badges alone and maybe a hand from tactical/armour if needed. -
@psychwolf often times you can get rid of IS all together with tactical spear. I got Glenn with tactical for Max, if I run Eugene with another bruiser I can get rid of tactical spear and place it with lucky,
Morgan still has IS trait because I really want lucky on his staff but I could drop it to silver armor which I gained other day.
Silver IS, then gold health and gold hazard.
Reality is just all depends on your badges and their bonuses. Often times 3 legendary reduction in a set will get you right at 70% and then tactical seals it. -
My Eugene has 68% DR not accounting for iron skin. If rerolled IS for dodge, I would be at 78% DR with tactical staff. If I keep IS, I can use armor with 3 good traits, dodge, hazard and health or stun resist.
It only makes sense to me if you have the badges to get to 70% DR since I use the tactical staff the majority of the time. -
This one I made for my guldies, maybe it can help you too. Its most ideal traits for specific classes. It contains only 4 traits per class, 5th will be Leader Trait for Heroes, or any trait based on your playstyle for Regular Survivor.
-
@psychwolf its all about badges you have. The goal given we know the cycles is to get enough DR that you don’t need IS, but you said you are at 78% meaning one good bonus or one slightly better badge you can get rid of IS for dodge, assuming you already have luck.
Lucky staff FYI is great staff still works great on Morgan and even Glenn. Morgan for me I have silver IS on armor so I can use lucky on staff. -
Yeah it is heavily badge dependant. I have badges good enough to get Eugene and Rufus to 80% without needing tactical/IS/armour. Everyone else needs help until I can find more top end badges
-
So to sum up.
For non-hero bruisers there is no need to get rid of IS. For hero bruisers, there is as you want Punish, Retaliate, Lucky and Dodge.
You also don't want IS on armor, as you would want Health, Hazard and Dodge (switch for stun resist on tank heavy maps).
Optimally, you want Lucky, Concussion and Razor on your weapon, but then you need to get to 80% DR with badges alone. This is very hard to achieve (though possible), so the next best option is to take a weapon which has Tactical instead of lucky or concussion. Then you manage with 70% DR, which is much easier to achieve as it "only" requires 3 legendary DR badges of the same set.Ingame username: Jubjab -
Honestly for the 2% penalty I would get rid of IS, the double dodge would make up for that small sacrifice, particularly on eugune.

Um, you can change badges for free every 2 months. Re-roll is expensive. Why not badge around good traits rather than blow re-rolls for the chance of adjusting traits around sub-optimal badging?

Finally jumped on the Eugene wagon, and after multiple rolls this is what I got.
-
Except you are screwed if you don't have a scout in the team. Many maps work best with 3 bruisers. You want a badge with bonus trait like retaliate, but there are no such DR badges in the 6-DR cycle.ToniStoraro said:3 of these make perfect DR i believe.

Outside of set bonus the magic numbers to go for are:
59% with a hand from silver tactical or IS armour. 2 legendary and 1 epic ought to do it.
67% off 3 badges alone. Really tough, if you can get a 20/21+5 badges with a trait bonus this makes it so much easier as the other 2 other legendary badges don't really have to be that strong. So a 21+5, 21 and 20 badge would get you there.
