Can't figure out how the calculation works

I can't wrap my head around how exactly the survivor's health is calculated when badges are equipped. One example below.

Level 27 Morgan (bruiser) with 3 Health Badge (each +17%) from the same set.

Health w/ lv 30 armor (no health boost) 19,560 Armor health value 5,764
Health w/ lv 27 armor (no health boost) 15,964 Armor health value 3,429 incremental total health 3,596 incremental armor health 2,335 Multiplier 1.540
Health w/ lv 24 armor (no health boost) 13,825 Armor health value 2,040 incremental total health 5,735 incremental armor health 3,724 Multiplier 1.540

As you can see, the health multiplier is always 1.540. My question is, I have three +17% badge and am supposed to get a 20% effect boost by using badges from the same set, why the multiplier is not 1+(0.17*1.2*3)=1.612?

Thank you!

The survivor badge screen report all the wrong numbers. If you can take screenshot of the badges in the craftsman building, as well as your character screen, that would help with the diagnosis.

I'm guessing the set bonus is not activated.

    Please provide screenshot.

I'm guessing the bonus is already in the 17%>>

    0.15*1.2*3=54%

A 15% badge will show as 17% in a set. Even though it actually is 18%

    Fits your case perfect.

Is this the same for all badges? As in I may have achieved 80% but actually what I see is only 76%?

The display sometimes (not always) rounds wrong so you should always calculate from the base values.

In fact, there is no rounding!

    A 13% badge will become 15.6% in a set.
    But will show: 15%.

Even worse/stranger, no bonus badges with 20% will show as 23% with the bonus, although it's both mathematically and in effect 24%.

...Oh wait, that's what you said already but with the 15% badge.

At the start screen of a mission, they should show each survivor’s total DR along with their attack and health.
