Player sabotage

Our guild repeatedly keeps getting a player joining & doing nothing. It is effecting chat w/numerous banishing! Sent screen shots to tech support but got an unfortunate response that they can’t control and have leader set to request. Unfortunately as most know by request cost gold & doesn’t generate much traffic. Also during last 2 guild wars had new player join go rogue & do random incomplete missions in bonus & A path not following communication & scoring 0 & 80 pts in challenge. Months ago it was a rude/vulgar player which was reported again tech saying nothing they could do. That player I notice is banned from forum but are complaint no reprimand? Another player we had issue w/ I now read others have posted don’t except. .......................................................................
Why can’t we change this feature so that if a guild banishes a player they have to in the future join by request ,this would help to red flag the bad apples and allow you to better vet new teammates! I think it would take care of a lot of problems!

@Nanajja setting your guild to join by request doesn’t cost any gold, advertising does. It looks like the issue can be solved by setting join by request. As for not generating traffic, there’s a guild recruitment section on the forum where you can recruit. Recruiting properly is key to a successful guild.

I appreciate your feedback zbot , yes I am aware setting to request doesn’t cost gold, the advertising does. However as I stated when set at join by request there is far less joiners if any at all . In reading the forum notes I see numerous players express the same complaint by request, limits new players joining. Given the length of players commenting on this issue perhaps it is time to come up with better solution, than to just say set to join by request & I am sorry we can’t control abusive players who wish to sabotage your team during guild wars or ghost/troll your team in challenge & GW! Time, energy, & occ $ goes into playing. Shouldn’t be ruined by some bad apples when clearly something can be done about it !!!!

It takes a long time to build a solid guild. If you get a non-participant....you can put your expectations in game chat. They still don't respond you just boot after the challenge. Newbies might just be trying out the game--they come and go....Also, sometimes it just takes a lot of patience as players learn the game by trial and error....a good team coaches each other. I try hard to keep things positive. I know it is hard when you are starting out because you are so excited when you get a join.
Try recruiting on the forum as the moderator suggested with what you are looking for. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not. It does take time. We are a very stable guild but it took several years to get that way and find the right players that work well together and enjoy each other.LISMORE GUILD will "RISE UP" to the challenge.

A player joined our guild the day before yesterday, immediately signed up for the Guild Wars, but did not participate. The confrontation, of course, lost. Today, this player is also registered for the fight. Add the ability to throw the player out of the guild between fights! Why does he have to ruin our fight 2 times in a row?!

@Fluxxx. Guild Leaders really need the option of withdrawing a player from the upcoming/future GW battles. We have a rule that if you are a new player, you must communicate with the guild your commitment to the GW Battle or be booted before the GW starts. We just did that this week when a new guildie joined, signed up for GW, and didn't even say hello. Out the door they went. For the casual guilds, we are designating Sunday as our "Sunday Funday." Anyone can sign up with no pressure to use all their attacks. This is a good day for newbies to see how GW works and even experienced players to test our new strategies to push their limits. We typically don't win on those days, but those who play have fun.

We're working on the ability for leaders to unregister players from slots
If all goes well, this option will be in the next update.
