Rooting not working in Last Stand

I have Sasha using the winter harpoon in Last Stand and at least three times on her charge attack it failed to root the walker (a metal head). I thought the charge was guaranteed root?

    @Raven2318 do you have a clear line of sight to the metal head?  If another metal head is blocking the line of sight then the charge attack will not work.  I've had this happen to be before in GW where one metal head is in front and blocks my shots.

    Thanks for responding so quickly! Yes, it was a totally clear shot. Seems to be confined to metal heads as far as I can see.

    @Raven2318 if you are able to get a video of it, please pose here and send it to support, you are the first player to report it.

    Just curious, are you rooting metal walkers that are near your survivors?  They can't move but they still can attack you if you are next to them.

    No, I try to not get near them if at all possible as I know rooted walkers can get you in adjacent spaces. I took a clean shot from several spaces away using charge, and was astonished when there was no root. It has happened a few times, I was wondering if I was misunderstanding the charge root dynamic. I will try to get a video.
