    This week is an off week but if it resumes as planned then the season will finish Sunday 19th December...

    2 weeks mid-season break and then the week 4 of GW on Xmas week won't work very well. I can't imagine many people playing on Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun (Dec 23-26). I know I won't and half of my guild neither.
    It's a holiday travel time, people don't have much time outside of RL generally. Huge inconvenience.

    Original schedule with 1 week mid-season break was much better.

    The last 2 weeks of they year and  1st week of 2022 should be GW free.This is a busy period for everyone.
    Please consider and change it. I also think it was not intended and you did not realise this.

    As far as I can tell the mid season break has been extended because the update is coming out a week later than planned. I agree though something needs to be done to avoid a Christmas guild wars week.

    I just noticed this and I was going to point it out as well. I am not one that is normally in favor of long breaks for GW, but perhaps after War #3 there should be another two week break. That would mean War# 4 would start Jan 3rd after we have all recoverd from our hangovers.

    Be classy NG, even WWI had a Christmas truce

    I definitely will not be able to play xmas week we will be travelling two days and sending time out of state with the grandkids so a piece of coal in NGs stocking for sure.

    Thank you for sharing your concerns, opinions and thoughts on the current GW schedule. Unfortunately we have to postpone the upcoming update to next week, which is why the GW schedule was originally changed a bit.

    Understandably holiday season is packed with a lot of fun events, gatherings, travelling etc., so we had a discussion with the team and decided to change the schedule to the following:

    Week 48-49 Break
    Week 50 GW week 3
    Week 51 Break
    Week 52 GW week 4

    This to aim to accommodate you players, the next update and the general schedule of GW seasons, as best as possible 😊

    Then week 4 falls on NY Eve/Day 😅
    A lot of guilds and people will miss out on a lot of VP & RP.

    Packing GW, update all at the same time with holidays... Original GW schedule was near perfect.
    Releasing Update in January (or after GW season) might've been the way to go to start with, since you had unexpected delays.

    1 week break was perfect as we would be on break during christmas and new year (25/12 and 01/01), you need to put 2 weeks apart which made week 4 fall at christmas, bad, now to correct they added one more week of break after week 3, causing week 4 to fall on New Year's Eve, bad too.  my suggestion to fix the first error since ng needed a 2 week break after week 2, put a 2 week break after week 3 so we can spend Christmas and New Year's Eve without wars

    this is not acceptable

    week 52 it's new year week
    week 1 it's Orthodox Christmas week

    so roll back on one week break between war 2 and war 3 or set three weeks break between war 3 and war 4

    Guys thanks for moving GW from Christmas week but why former USSR community should suffer from it?
    The New Year for us is the same holiday as Christmas for Catholics, a lot of people traveling, taking vacation going to meet their parents. If you want to solve one problem at the expense of others just said that out loud. 
    Please reconsider the GW date

And preparation for the Orthodox Christmas.  It is strange that with your changes in dates you did not take into account such an important issue for believers.  If you show openness, it will be open to everyone. Prudence, honesty, justice should always be present, and not when it is convenient. Thanks.

    Thanks everyone for your input. I understand that there aren’t perfectly ideal weeks to have a well coordinated GW week at the end of the year. We tried to accommodate for those who celebrate Christmas, as well as Orthodox Christmas - week 52 is between these, and as New Year festivities are the shortest of the two (1-2 days), that leaves most of the week still.

    We also have an internal factor, that is the holidays of our team. Releasing before the holiday season with some room to monitor the release is crucial, and that would not be easily done until later in January, and at that time we also have to focus our efforts on Season 11B that is coming out in February.

    We hope that coordinated guilds would be able to work around this final week of the year, and we apologize for the delay that caused the schedule change, but as it stands this is the best option we have, and further changes to the schedule will certainly have ripple effects on our later development cycles

    @LexiaMultiply the RP, let everyone play for three days and let yourself and us go for the holidays. Thus close the 11th season of wars.  Start the New Year with new plans. You need to be really Flexible and not just be good for someone.  You have a fun PR Team, go ahead. NG - the future is in your hands - surprise! Think ;). Thanks.

    @Firekid I can't find something funny here as I could not find it funny if NG kept the original schedule with one war on the Christmas week
    FYI there are Russian speaking players in many guilds, someone you can find in your own guild family but no one who wrote is from breaking bad

    canceling the break for next week (which was included at the last minute) and following wars 3 and 4 in sequence would solve our problem because the deal is not expensive, we understand that the update had to be postponed, but they didn't need to have changed the calendar of gw

    Do you guys all play games at work or what?

    I have family and holidays means lots of time off I can play games as much as I want.

    I'll play on Christmas and new years both bring it on baby. 

    And fyi when I'm at work, I do work, not games, and when I'm at home, that's when I play games.
