New in-game events? 🤔

We have been discussing a bit with the team that it would be nice to look into bringing some new in-game events.
We've gotten a few interesting suggestions already earlier, eg. non-heroes with boosted stats or possibility to replay Chapter missions. Even a bit different approach suggestion with having walkers be immune to certain status effects (would you be up for the challenge? 🤓).
What do you think about these suggestions, and/or what would you personally like to see in the game? Looking for resources or an extra challenge, or maybe something completely different?

Promotion to use melee teams and melee star-heroes. -
Why not a "Back to the Future" or "Time-Turner Challenge" where you have an older, rarely used/retired, Challenge... Then all settings revert to 2019: no tools, no star hero, no supports available, and no limit to stars. Can leave the LT's and heros... you can limit the RP's to 26, so as to not allow for a ridiculous amount the following week. Can have a rewards like the Last Stand for top 5, top 1%, etc. I know its likely a difficult option, but I think might re-energize the community.Â
Can call it the BloodyChainsaw return to dominance challenge, lol. -
Some time back, the season missions were reopened on weeks when no new episodes were running. That was fun.
We also used to have a "No Body Shot" Challenge where all melee attacks were non-Body Shots. There also used to be weeks with increased fire damage.
And, there used to be outpost events where trade good rewards were increased and epic versions of special weapons were available in the trade goods store. (i.e. you could buy an epic kingdom spear for some thousands of trade goods) -
Restarting the episode missions would be great, adding some variety and give newer players something new, and the rest of us a blast from the past. Another difficulty level on the chapter missions would also be welcome. We would also appreciate a badge component scavenge mode. Theoretically these are simple requests with minimal new programming.

How about something really simple, taking the cap off challenge!!!! I mean people are done perfect in 6 hours! And 100+ ties every week!
maybe fix the bugged map sets?
Reuse the map sets that are retired?ÂWe have not  seen a extra fire damage week in a long time. -
What happened to fire damage event and the legendary no body hits event , while we’re at it reverse what you did to
kaboom you ruined it for us mid level players **** that noise it’s crap and tedious and makes me can’t be bothered before round passes run out ….W**K -
How about a no body shot event so that we can encourage people using melee instead and discourage SPY and SMY?

If we're talking about back to the roots. I already mentioned 2 weekend events, we've never seen as they were.
First is the old version of radio active event (i know, this still runs every few weeks). At the beginning we had 2,4 and 6 radios instead of 1,2 and 4.
Second is the non body shot event. But this was already mentioned a few times before.
Bring back the deadly missions.
2 simple rules for this mode. Either no heroes allowed, cause we cant loose them or heroes allowed, but if they ,,die", we cant use them for a day or even a week.
Start a challenge where nothing is beeing able to be used like badges, tools, gold and supporters.
Community events are always making fun. I know last one with killing walkers with already dead heroes made lots of players try to make the most kills in a single map.
Maybe a event, where meele against range kills count. Everyone has to bet, who will win. Winning players get an extra reward. -
What about the a new building to make our own gears collecting traits tokens or let us reroll traits

Farming in the hell==>
This week all scalaver mission in hard mode comes with special walkers (go, metal head, spike..)
Every weapon make 2x noise -
Teammates fight:
This week you can select the Outpost you wanna fight to(Only outpost equal or higher are available)
One of the things why outpost is that bore is cuz we can't visit a friend and thel them i got you! -

How about something new!
I call it Wasteland...
I want to jump into a map with two or three friends and kill some stuff in there. The enemies inside depend on the number and skill of players that enter. For example, if all my players are at 29, then enemies are 15 levels higher (44). If three people are playing, that is 9 game players, therefore the enemies are multiplied by some factor. We might need a cap at 3 players though.
We could face anything: whisper zombies that become human, heroes (Beta, Glenn, Mercer....), a big big bigger boss zombie that is metal goo and spiked at the same time, zombie Shiva, zombie Michonne's cat, Carl's missing eye, Hershel's head, Rick's killer RV, a snowman, Kill All Walkers, Get to the Exit, Fight in Water (only one space to move for everyone per turn), some kind of hallucination map where anything is possible. You could add crazy maps with each update.
I imagine this like a slightly improved scavenge mission. No need for leadboards. Just a good time together with teammates. However, the rewards in the crates at the end should be a little better. Perhaps they can include a small number of hero tokens, reroll tokens, radios, gas, or trade goods. Nothing too cheap. Maybe you need to use the sword idea from Guild Wars so you can only do the Wasteland 10 time per week. You can't go in alone.Â

I really like the idea of a 4th round of missions for the main story line. All the same maps, except introduce tons of special walkers we now have to fight through. It's not worth it to use tools to do it and get the small gold bonus but it is a good challenge for us to use free gas towards in our spare moments and when we are on gas boosters.Â
I'm interested to hear which maps everyone likes the most from the story missions as possible converts into challenge maps. Me, I like puzzle blocks. Maybe it's not the best map and the shape needs to get reworked a bit. The technical side of it I think would make for a really fun challenge map (or series!) with lots and lots of puzzle blocks!
The only time I play the story line missions is when I have a free gas booster. Othewise I'm banking gas for challenge or using gas for challenge. -
No body shots event shouldn't affect existing top players in the weekly challenge, SHYP doesn't need body shots to function.Â
For the super elites, Sasha is now on the bench.
Now if it was in play during guild wars... Ooof, that's a different story.Â

Small note - the idea here was suggestions for weekly in-game live events. So like we now have Tomato Monday, 5s upgrades, Jackpot etc. -
In game events:Â
UNSTOPPABLE : each time your survivor kill a walker, he gains a new half action point -
How about:
REROLL WEEK
1. The amount of Reroll tokens you get are ×2 in all game modes.
2. You can get tokens from killing walkers in camp, guild gifts, after mission crates, and ads.
3. Cost for rerolling survivors and badges is reduced by 20%
4. Sprinkle in some good bundles.
5. Everybody Happy. -
TOOL WEEK
1. The Tools in Nightmare Distance are added as additional rewards to Normal and Hard Mode. For Nightmare mode get one additional tool for each reward you get.
2. You can get tools from killing walkers in camp, guild gifts, after mission crates and ads.
3. Cool down period for tools is reduced by one.
4. Sprinkle in some good bundles.
5. Everybody Happy. -
Beach Party Weekend
1. All characters are in Bikinis and Mankinis outfits.
2. All maps turn into the Tara Beach one.
3. Rufus brings the "party favors"
4. Everybody Happy. -
The best thing you could do is to make a week when healing survivors cost zero gold. And that would be called "Free healing week".
