Have you actually tried using Ezekiel since the update? I find that he is still almost as effective as he was before, and still the #1 choice as a Warrior. The only change is that you have to plan a little bit more when dealing with walkers that can't be stunned, which honestly makes him a bit more fun to use IMO. NG already made the game too easy, so it's fun to actually think about strategy and plan 1-2 moves ahead.Proud member of Mavericks OG, a top 3 global GW and challenge guild.

Hi all!
I still use Ezekiel on lead & it is fun…
I’m not trying to troll, just trying to keep the fact that Melee has fallen WAY behind ranged in this game. I play the game for fun and planning moves ahead instead of just blasting SPY is more fun to me.
I’m staying respectful and pleasant, I hope it isn’t coming across as mean spirited, that’s not the intent. I love this game, my Guild mates and have respect for posters in here.
Finally, hope I don’t mess up anyone’s calendar! 😁😁😁Proud Co-Leader with Badger Hounds

I will add, that these past daily posts on Ezekiel have not brought anything new to the table, so I would recommend to rethink your approach to the subject and keep this in one thread.
As stated before; melee is not forgotten, and we are constantly looking into ways to balance things without creating a huge shift. We also have to monitor how certain changes affect the gameplay before making more or bigger changes.
Always welcome to share suggestions, general feedback etc., but conversations that just goes on about the same thing over and over again without anything new (and in this case daily with a new thread), is not the way to go.

The game did do a huge shift when Princess and later Mercer were introduced to the game. Melee players that invested effort and resources to do well in the game suddenly started getting crushed by these over-powered teams.
The improvements to Pizza Glenn and Negan helped melee teams a little. Then the new and improved Ezekiel comes aboard. We think..okay great…I can now score a bit higher, but now I have a fighting chance versus ranged teams. It wouldn’t even things up in the range vs melee arena.
For those of use that just play the game without using complicated algorithms, spreadsheets and haven’t worked with coding we figured we finally got a break. Tokens and gold was spent building up a hero that had been neglected and never used. We had no idea that Zeke was not “working as intended”. Ezekiel is “fixed’ and while he is still better than before but it is a disappointment.
I hope the new weapons and traits introduced in this next campaign will help. I hope that NG is indeed working on something, however covert it is, to even things out between ranged and melee.
You’ve politely asked me to shut up, so fine, I’ll stop the daily threads, maybe I’ll just do a monthly one. I started a thread a few weeks ago asking for ideas to help Melee, and some very good folks shared ideas that I hope NG might consider.

Anyone who claims they didn't know Ezekiel wasn't working as intended either doesn't understand the basic mechanics of the game or is sticking their head in the sand.
When a tank standing next to you doesn't attack back it was pretty clear that something wasn't right. As @JayZ has mentioned, he is still more than usable except for against heavies. Hopefully we will see an improved morningstar with the new interrupt trait to help restore him to something he once was. In a way that actually isn't clearly a bug

I don’t care about basic mechanics of the game, I just play for fun. I’m very happy that you are unsurpassed in knowledge of the game. I do respect your opinion though…the Morningstar with interrupt would be awesome!Proud Co-Leader with Badger Hounds

Seriously these posts are becoming annoying. Ezekiel can still push targets with morning star. He can’t be as OP as he used to. He’s still much more useful than most of the other warriors!
