Hey everyone! 👋
I wanted to drop in and say that it's always interesting to read about all the different suggestions and ideas that you all bring up on this Forum, not to mention a lot of interesting insights to different elements in the game and how they are perceived or utilized by you.
Looking at the year 2022, we already have some bigger ideas in mind that we'd like to develop, but also keeping a bunch of general improvements in mind and aiming at adding some with every update. We've also had some discussions on what sort of in-game and general events that would be nice to have, and that already resulted in some interesting suggestions to look into more.
It's easy to see that there are a lot of ideas out there, but - what is that ONE thing you'd like to see in NML during the year 2022? If nothing else happens, what is that one thing that you'd at least like to see done?
Share your one suggestion here, and please also utilize the opportunity to react to others ideas so we can see what as many as you are possibly thinking about these suggestions! 😊
PS. 'Make melee strong again' (+Ezekiel) and GW Beta are already very much noted from before 😉

I still love the idea of
#1 expanded Outposts, team outposts, and if not possible, see #2 below
#2 Another outpost type mode that IS developable

Reroll events (ones per month)
- Reroll tokens in crates and chests- double reoll tokens in challenge and the distance- less reroll costs for rerolling traits- less, less, less reroll costs for rerolling badges (especially badge condition)Proud member of WEIRDnDEADLY -

I would like to see improvements to the overwatch/punish mechanics in terms of walker selection. There are moments where I want to overwatch with the cripple bow or keep threat low, only to see my survivor target a walker I didn't want to target and go into struggle with the one I did. The other issue is with punish attacking a fast walker about to come out of stun, punish attacks it only for retaliate to kick in - if this is convoluted I would just rather see them not retaliate to a punish attack. Either way, I feel screwed by a choice I didn't want the game to make.
I would like to possibly see something similar to the dog support when I hit end turn where it shows me the walker I am going to target and then I can choose to tap the button again to confirm or change it if I want. It would add an added tactical element and also solve any issues with an accidental end turn press. I understand why it is there for simplicity but it is 2022 and I think some evolution is needed. -
An incendiary Melee weapon. Like a flaming Morning star or a flaming luke's mace.

I mentioned Wasteland before, but will share again below. Also a reminder to think about putting the newest heroes into the distance and gas as a reward...
Wasteland...
I want to jump into a map with two or three friends and kill some stuff in there. The enemies inside depend on the number and skill of players that enter. For example, if all my players are at 29, then enemies are 15 levels higher (44). If three people are playing, that is 9 game players, therefore the enemies are multiplied by some factor. We might need a cap at 3 players though.
We could face anything: whisper zombies that become human, heroes (Beta, Glenn, Mercer....), a big big bigger boss zombie that is metal goo and spiked at the same time, zombie Shiva, zombie Michonne's cat, Carl's missing eye, Hershel's head, Rick's killer RV, a snowman, Kill All Walkers, Get to the Exit, Fight in Water (only one space to move for everyone per turn), some kind of hallucination map where anything is possible. You could add crazy maps with each update.
I imagine this like a slightly improved scavenge mission. No need for leadboards. Just a good time together with teammates. However, the rewards in the crates at the end should be a little better. Perhaps they can include a small number of hero tokens, reroll tokens, radios, gas, or trade goods. Nothing too cheap. Maybe you need to use the sword idea from Guild Wars so you can only do the Wasteland 10 time per week. You can't go in alone.

Magna as a new scout hero with a signature weapon that allows two strikes (something like two knives she wields and she can attack with both), the second attack always has a percentage chance to reduce threat and give an extra charge point.. [since you asked for one specific thing, this is one example of implementing my bigger wish to make melee more useful again - and my personal wish to see more of the badass TWD women represented in the game ;-) ]. thanks for asking the community, Lexia, I'm sure there's a wealth of suggestions out there
-
An “undo” button that undoes the last action you took (eg accidentally running a survivor into a crowd of walkers instead of shooting at them). Limited to one use per mission.
-
I would like to see tougher enemies in general, but particularly tougher against ranged strategies (since they dominate the endgame at the moment). Please note this is different than suggesting improving melee. If we were to get a Super Jerry in the next update I imagine it still wouldn't be as effective as SPY/SMY/SHYP, so we will still use those teams most often. There should be an actual strategic reason to switch between ranged, melee, and mixed teams based on the walkers we are facing.
Think of all the new heroes, weapons, tools and supports we have gotten over the years. What improvements have been made for walkers? -
Love the game and the improvements. I would like the option to reset the 15 Chapter Missions. Played them years ago and enjoyed them a lot. Each time I pay gold to reset it would add another Star and difficulty would increase. Rewards can be included to make it worthwhile for the gold spent. I have all the maps completed 3 Star and would love to try 4 star, 5 star and as far as I could go until I max out with my skill level.

One attack one kill, for example use critical chance % to have an % chance for a survivor to kill a walker (regardless of level and health) in one attack. Make this % chance higher for melee than range attacks, and limit it to one kill per survivor, per turn (to avoid SPY, MPY, etc, )
Play with the figures, even if it's only 10% of critical chance %, being able to kill any walker would be great.
Thank you

Better animations for supports. I didn't really expect to see a fully animated Shiva on screen, but the current implementation is lackluster and easy to miss if you blink. In Game: Fives

1.-Simon
Some time ago i posted a suggestion for a Human Killer Heroe and Also my favorite character in the show
https://forums.nextgames.com/walkingdead/discussion/49133/new-hero-idea-simon
2.-A player to player trade system like being able to trade gear between friends and GW members with its balancing limitations
"You can trade max of 3 items per Day or 5 per week if you want to trade more pay gold" or maybe adding a Hard to get Token to make the trade posible
-
More skins or outfits. This doesn't affect gameplay but adds more fun, the opportunity to play with your favourite heroes from different seasons and moments 🙏
All my suggestions: https://forums.nextgames.com/walkingdead/discussion/44432/skin-concepts/p1
-
a good idea would be a friend system in which one can add users to interact with them and be able to trade different types of materials between users it would also be a good idea to have more costumes for the survivors and a rebalancing of the prices of the costumes since the clothes in my opinion are very expensive and with a lower price it would be more accessible and of more interest in addition to increasing the number of suits as I already said

There are 2 posts I wrote that were widely accepted:1: exchange the 5 traits of one hero for another, example: I want to play with Shane as a leader, but that he has the Sasha leader ability. Through some option called "exchange traits" Sasha's traits pass to Shane (trait level does not matter, if Sasha had five level 7 traits and Shane had five level 5 traits, when exchanging Sasha with five level 5 traits, and Shane with five level 7. This option should only be able to be done once a month and only between characters of the same class (hunter - hunter for example)2: ANNUAL "Show me what you got" event. This event is so that both PTW and FTP players can fight on equal terms and show their skill, because there is unlimited gas and free healing. I would add to my original idea to remove the round limit only in said event, so that everyone could unleash their maximum potential, although this would not be so important. Thanks for listening to suggestions @Lexia

There are still a bunch of good suggestions for picking here

I would like to see flares and Blast grenades added to the weekly rotation of grenades and health kits for giveaway and purchase. Perhaps a rotation of all tools.Maybe even a weekend event every once in a while for tools to be in treasure chests ( kinda like the badge and component events)
I’m sure there are other changes I’d like to see but that one is the one that’s been on top of my mind lately! -
Hi @LexiaI really want to please my friends from the guild with gifts, but often there is nothing there except garbage, adding tools (grenades, land mines, torches, first-aid kits and flesh) to gifts to the guild members will please any player.

This is a big one, and I understand if it's not something you can fit the development budget easily, or if it would add too big storage costs, but I think it would have many benefits:
Replays
Automatically "record" missions so we can share them. I don't mean huge video files, but a type of macro format that stores how the player interacted and how much luck they had, how the walkers spawned, etcWhy/How
- It would be a nice social feature, sharing with friends and guild mates, and like/upvote/promote/reshare to highlight the most helpful ones, seeing how people on different levels solve the same issue, what solutions are more "costly", or what's easier.
- These *mostly* don't have long term value. It's something you want to be able to do fast and easy (uploading to YouTube takes a lot of time) and next week no one will watch them, so you don't have to host them for a long time.
- Players who want strategy advices you don't have to close the game and get distracted by YouTube recommendations and ads.
- It helps beginners to see what works and not (something they really need). Especially if they can get a list of replays shared by others who played the same challenge mission at the same level before them (assuming it was shared/stored, or if everything is).
- It should help you track down bugs to have this data.
- If you raid someone you know or play their human defenders, you can share it with that person so they can see their defenders in action.
- You can probably sell some weapons this way, like offer discounted bundles with the weapons used in a mission that the player watching it doesn't have.

Greetings. I propose the following:1) Add a pvp mode so that players can attack each other in real time, like in outpost mode. Defense side, attack side. Make a ranking and some awards for prizes at the end of each cycle.2) It is necessary to strengthen the class of scouts, they are the weakest in the game, they are unable to stun enemies, scouts are unable to kill walkers in the last rounds of the Challenge.3) I propose to make Gabriel the scout more useful. I suggest giving him a chance to avoid damage from any attack of the enemy, at least 40% with the possibility of increasing and influencing the skill of luck on a new leadership trait. Leader Trait: Divine dexterity. How nice it will be to see.4) I propose to add a new killer leadership trait to one of the new scouts, or to Carol's scout, who is still on the bench and is not needed anywhere, unfortunately.New Leader Ability: "Fatal Kill" . Carol is a scout, or a new scout hero has the ability to destroy any enemy with 1 hit, regardless of the enemy’s health level, let’s say it will be a minimum 15-20% probability, with the possibility of increasing so that luck also affects this ability.5) Make these heroes more useful: Jerry, Morgan the sniper, Morgan the bouncer, Tara, Merle, Aaron, Abraham, Rick the Shooter , Jesus, Maggie hunter, Dwight. These are very bad hero leaders to Challenge. Carl is a good defensive leader on WG and outpost - but he doesn't make any sense in challenge mode! I have a lot of ideas for changing each hero, if anything I can share it more.6) Please make sure that WG defenders cannot be viewed before the battle, why is the defense better done by you at the outpost than at WG? WG defenders act inconsistently, run away in different directions. All information about them is known to the attacking player, this is very bad! This is the weakest link in the war, but in the series, people are more dangerous than walkers!7) At the outpost, you can set up defenses and information about the defenders is hidden, this is the excitement. And on WG - everything is open, the defenders act inconsistently: they don't use charged attacks, they don't have badges and support, they are the weakest link. But in the series, people with guns are more dangerous than the walking dead!--P.s.I hope you understand me correctly. I'm sorry, English is not my native language))

I don't think anyone actually scavenges for equipment because the options aren't good. I'd like to see higher chances of legendary equipment, if not exclusively legendary. With the amount of traits available there are still low chances to get unicorn gear.
Also, I'd like to see the options to scavenge for components, radios and gold, which are already found in crates. Regarding components, I could be wrong, but I don't think current available bundles are terribly popular anyway. Regarding radios, many do The Beach season mission to "farm" them during radioactive events, so you may as well make it a bit easier for everyone to get them. Finally, regarding gold, there's no need to increase amounts, just the chances. About these last two, this could be of a huge help to f2p players, especially during campaigns to restart the Distance and many would still buy radio bundles and gold anyway.
So, I suggest 6 options:
- XP
- Supplies
- Equipment (improved)
- Components and fragments
- Radios
- Gold

Hello, one of my big wishes would be to see the different game mode with separate hospitals: one for challenge, one for gw, one for distance...
another wish would be the resale market to our teammates of our old equipment / badges 😊

Revamp the gear system. I scrap 99.99% of gear I get from crates as I have weapons from campaigns, Guild Wars Shop, Black Market, or that I have purchased. Instead, award weapon points and armor points. Allow players to use those points in the workshop to build their own gear, where they can choose which traits they want. These gear points can be a new currency in the game economy and would be better than getting all of the instascrap we do now.

@Lexia
Can you share the "BIGGER IDEAS" NG have on the Forums for discussion. NG would definitely get so many suggestions for improving the "BIGGER IDEAS" and converted them into "BEST SOLUTIONS"Zee Black - SG Woots - Playing since 2015.

One and ONLY thing i would like to see is:
BETA TESTING new patches/updates before going live. -
I have a few wishes:1. Add more islands to the war map, only make the difficulty there very high! For example, as in the test, starting from 70-75+ rounds!2. Add another league, for example platinum (1-3) and divide the master League also into three positions, we need it! Add support tokens to the GW store. Start fining guilds for being created anew at the beginning of the season.3. Remove the limit on stars, You can even reduce the number of awards after 5358.4. Give the opportunity to change skills on equipment, at least on jackets. So that we can put absolutely any skill from weapons, and maybe even the traits of heroes! So that we can spend reinforcement tokens, there is nowhere to put them.5. Make more useful functions for players, for example, auto disposal of unnecessary things after missions! There may be a transfer of things between players.P.S. I have long wanted to see sweet Judith in the melee game! Just don't you dare make her weaker than Mercer!
