Survival pass way overpriced

It’s way too expensive. Here in Aus its $23. Lasts a little over a month. For a few little bits and pieces in an iPhone game. That’s more than a World of Warcraft subscription, and do you know how much content there is for that?

You guys are losing money with this pricing. In my guild virtually everyone has said they might do it for $5 (AU$7), but no way they’re paying this. That’s 12-14 people x $7 = $98 vs $0 you’ll get with current pricing.

That’s before the inherent 2 speed imbalances this will cause, between those that do pay and those that don’t, and the inevitable minor exodus over the next 6-8 months that always follows. 

Look at Supercell. Probably the biggest iOS game company. Their season pass equivalent is AU$7 and lasts for 35 days. They get huge % take up. That’s how you do a season. Small $, everyone in. Not this. This sucks.

    Personally I can see both sides of the argument, for me, it’s a gold bundle with 2300+ worth of gold plus 150 phones and 12 tools. If that came in as a normal bundle for 12.99 (not including the reskinned weapon) I would probably have bought it. However from NG’s side I agree that the price point has probably put off those players who wouldn’t normally buy bundles anyway. It was and still is (if they change the price) a good way to get people to start spending. 
    The fact I bought it doesn’t really mean much to them as chances are I would have bought a different bundle with gold in anyway.
    I guess they’ll be looking over their figures at the end of this season pass and will make changes accordingly. 
    Just out of interest if it had been a new weapon, or a weapon which has not been available for anything but real money yet, would that have changed your mind regarding the value/tempted you to spend.

    I've been on the fence about buying it.  Most likely I will wait to see what the second Season Pass has to offer.  Not having a new weapon, or a good real money weapon, has made it easy to resist the purchase.
    If next season has a better price point and/or a better weapon, then I will likely buy it.
    For the longest time I refused to spend money on the game.  When I finally got to the top tier I decided it was OK to spend a little here and there.  Now I will buy a bundle if I really feel the value is there, and that has always meant a good weapon.  I would guess that I buy a bundle once or twice a year at this point, for the past 2-3 years.
    I just can't justify spending $15us for a bunch of stuff I can farm myself and don't really use a lot anyway.  I'm very stingy with my resources, and learning the better strategies (SPY/SMY) has allowed me to drastically reduce my tool usage.  I could maybe justify $15 for a top tier weapon that I don't already have, but definitely not for a reskin.

    I don't understand how it's the same in pounds and in us dollars.
    To be honest the whole game pricing structure needs a rethink. £10 to reroll a trait. Crazy pricing.

    Lucky harpoon with incendiary would have been op, maybe with piercing it would have been alright. Not sure how useful that would have been though

    Because the Harpoon Gun is already overpowered and there's only one thing that will make you choose another weapon and that's when you need fire. If you put fire on the Harpoon Gun you literally will never need another weapon ever and then where do you go from there?

    Seriously though, I'm not the creative type.  I'll give it a shot though:
    - Bayonet Musket that only requires two charge points
    - Dragon's Tongue grants two charge points for a kill (Like Obisdian Ripper)
    - Obsidian Ripper with Dragons Tounge attack area, Silver Tactical, Gold Destructive & Razor
    - Import .57 with Silver Tactical, Gold Cripple, Gold High Powered, Infused Incendiary
    - Winter Flare Gun with Silver Tactical, Gold Lucky, Gold Incendiary, Infused Gold High Powered
    - Morning Star with Concussion instead of Destructive

    Agree @Shezza10, and the Winter Harpoon was in the Black Market too, i have already two Winter Harpoons... 🤷‍♂️

    New players I'm guessing. To bring them in with shiny treats and daily tasks to groom them into keep logging in? And a proven top tier weapon?

    $12.99 might not be much in the USA, but $24 is quite a lot here is Australia. Add 10 for a year and we’re talking $240 for a year. That’s 3 copies of Cyberpunk or any other brand new top shelf games. 

    It’s just nowhere near worth that. A few dollars is something you can justify, and you’d get good user uptake, and keep people closer to a level playing field. 

    With current pricing I might, MIGHT, buy one a year for the gold or if there’s a weapon I need. I absolutely will not be buying it every month. And neither will anyone else I know here in Aus.

    The problem is not the price, but the lack of unique rewards. I would rather get some unique hero outfits than gold/tools and even a weapon skin (I don't need a 3rd harpoon gun that needs exp to be upgraded and space in the armory).

    The same Pass in Puzzle Tales is $24,99 and $19,99 in Our World. This game has the cheapest pass out of the 3 NG games.

    Not to mention 30% cut from Apple/Google per Pass Purchase.

    I would buy the pass after I have enough points to unlock all Tiers in case something happens and I can’t play for days/weeks so get the most value for my money. 

    I thought the price would be around 19,99 but the current pricing is pretty Al right. 

    I do agree on the Weapon part… Would be cool to get new Unique Weapons every Season…  For instance a Weapon with 3 Gold Traits instead of 2 Gold and 1 Silver? Would be nice to have a uniqueness like with GW Shop and the Infused Weapons…

    I probably would've got the season pass if the harpoon had cripple or another trait since incendiary would've been OP. Or even "platinum" lucky or destructive as mentioned above

    The fact that it has incendiary and you can root as an extra free attack is what makes it overpowered. Removing silence does nothing to lessen that. It is a wasted trait with SPY/SMY anyway
