What is the best team for level 54-56 walkers w/ 4-turn respawn & lots of heavies?

What is the best team for level 54-56 walkers w/ a 4-turn respawn of 6-7 walkers including stun-resistant heavies?  There are a lot of heavies and my go-to SPY isn't cutting it since I can keep 2 heavies stunned at the same time if I'm lucky, but usually I'm not lucky... :neutral:

What would be the best conservative team and how equipped/badged? I don't mind 20 min games, but 20 min games where I'm slowly worn down until I miss a recharge, suck.

Someday I'm going to try a team where everyone has primed armor and interruptor weapons. :)

    Tried Mercer with Cookies for SMY. My first SMY. I sucked. Mercer is hardly ever charged, and you can only use the cookie once, at least with a level one cookie. I tried a few times, and found that if Mercer can quickly finish off the heavies, I win. But if he can't, I lose. Since SMY has no staying power (at least how I am playing it). Any advice how to play it better?

    My Mercer is 2 yellow stars and has bulldozer shotgun but w/o entanglement and has iron skin, dodge, ruthless armor.

    Well, 2 yellow stars has been enough to get me to almost 80 on the challenge.

    To eliminate confusion you can just say... 7 star. Cuz that's what it is lol. 

    But anyway, it sounds like you're playing it correctly. Mercer does a bigger Dent the higher you promote him and he gets charged more easily the more lucky he has and the higher Sasha's leader trait is. Princess charges more easily but it will take longer to kill enemies and you will have to rely heavily on burning them.

    In a lot of the videos you've seen this week probably a lot of the high-end players have Mercer promoted to 9 or 10 star status that and level two cookies. The combination of these things is why they are able to take them out so quickly. Especially the goo who you only have to chunk off over half of their remaining Health to one shot them. This is made for some very short videos this week LOL.

    But standard Sasha lead teams including SMY can still work very well with patience and skill.

    1. Use Winter Harpoon on Sasha and a weapon with Incendiary and Cripple on Yumiko. That, with Dog support, will keep you from being overwhelmed.

    2. Use Decimator with Mercer. He will charge faster and have more flexibility.

    3. Primed Armors will help you charge even faster.

    4. Watch videos and see how others use SMY. I haven’t recorded since Cookies and Primed were options, so I hesitate to direct you to my old videos, but any number of Youtubers like Busta, Firekid, Adeline probably have good SMY videos.

    I think most of them have some SMY videos for Guild wars, and probably Busta has some for challenge.

    I use Michonne's cat on Mercer just Incase he doesn't charge when I need it.  I agree with the offensive badging on Mercer.

    I have a 7 star Mercer and 1 star cookie too and killed the swamp at round 80 with one shot from the Decimator, even without help from Yumi.

    The thing with the cookies is you need his LT to trigger. Otherwise the boost you get is just going to be double his regular damage rather than boosting the damage from his LT. Correct me if I'm wrong, this is purely based off using that combination for the first time this week.

    So if your Mercer is only 7* and also if you don't have x3 lucky then cookies is going to feel like it's not really doing much damage more often than not.

    There's no way of aiming the Dog, is there? I mean a one-star Dog nips randomly one of the closest enemies, right?

    Usually when I am being overwhelmed by heavies, I have other stunnable walkers around me also, so having Dog nip one of the heavies seems to be a toss up. Especially as I try to keep heavies 2 spaces away from ranged heroes in case I'm only able to reduce them to one-space move instead of stunning them.

    Smart use of dog will help you from getting overwhelmed in the first place. After you are already overwhelmed it's often too late
