    @Lexia The problem is that anyone that chooses to can easily create infinite extra attacks for themselves. And you can see examples of players Tuesday who intentionally exploited it versus accidentally manifested and played them without realizing. Individual scores well over the max an individual can earn with 18 attacks.

    The teams today who were screwed the most were the ones that carefully plan, were aware they had extra attacks, and chose not to use any extra attacks.

    Agreed. Close GW immediately and suspend it until such time as these glaringly obvious bugs are fixed.

    Hello everyone!

    As stated in some previous comments already (also in NML News Feed):

    • We've already been able to determine the cause for 1 "extra" attack visually showing in the battle result screen (still not allowing to play any extra missions)
    • Extra attacks being gained and used - we are aware of this and have most likely found the cause for it as well. We will be sharing more information on GW and the next steps as soon as we can. We are currently doing some testing and looking into ending the current GW season due to these ongoing issues.
    More information will be shared in-game and here on the steps to come.

    Please share the details to Lexia and NG over pm so they can find and fix the issue. I had yesterday single extra attack which i found out after I had used all attacks, as I was doing missions here and there without keeping count myself. Only noticed it since my final points was higher than maximum possible. But I have absolutely no idea how it happened, so myself i cant help with debugging..

    You can play if you want, but you won't gain anything as we will be resetting things, and compensating used resources :smile:

    We are still doing tests, so can't share for sure when GW is closing. Will share more when I can

    Current GW season will end now at 9AM UTC.

    There will be news about this in-game as well, but in short, resources used on this season’s Guild Wars will be compensated, so there is no need for you to contact player support if you are affected. The guild shop will be closed until the next season. Additionally, any equipment gained from the shop so far will be altered, and brought back in the next season.

    New season will start when we have the issues sorted out. More on this later

    @Lexia don't know if I am oversimplifying things, but in other parts of life, such as challenge, it's possible to make it so that you spend gas, you get stars at the end. Same transactions happen everywhere outside TWD NML world. Why does this seem impossible in GW? Maybe I've oversimplified things, or it could be the developers overcomplicate things, I don't know, but I just thought I'd mention, in case it could help.

    @Paste remember last time they compensate those who didn't play "an extra day" by pretty good compensation for those who stay on the "good side", maybe Lexia can or cannot confirm if they do something similar, maybe still in discussions, but I'd just keep this in mind as precedence.

    You should consider compensating only the "good players".
    IMHO the intentionally bug exploiting "unfair players" shouldn't be compensated.

    The grey area is significant here. I have no idea how many swords did I actually play yestersay simply because I haven't counted.

    This isn’t right. 😡 I understand getting confused and not knowing what was happening. Our opponents knew exactly what they were doing and took full advantage of it. This is how it ended for us last night. This was for an 8 player team

    To what end? When you know it's broken and the season is going to end what is there to exploit. There is no gain. The punishment is the waste of time for nothing.

    I didn't break the game and I reported all of my findings immediately to the staff. I knew that it would be reset and I knew there would be no harm and I did not spend any of the reward points not a single one. They can check my account to verify.

    If anything I was trying to help force a reset by the sheer absurdity of the score

    I'll add that I think the spirit of intent by this change was a good one, and I'm sad for staff and community it didn't work out.

    I thought it was a really good idea to help prevent the lost swords that have plagued guild wars over the last few years.

    I hope the programmers find a way to make this work vs scrapping the idea.

    @Lexia sorry but one point I completely don’t understand - why do you have to reset the guild shop at all? Resetting it means those who didn’t play are disadvantaged of one set of reroll tokens (or maybe a “flare gun” as some puts it - the savior guns may be nerfed but the traits are still gold) while those who did play seems to feel about as angry for getting things taken away (potentially).

    The guild shop has done nothing wrong here - leave it alone. Let people keep what they have gotten but don’t give them extra when the GW resumes. Even better if you give at least some RP as compensation to those who didn’t play - but this isn’t a big deal really, because The amount of stuff you can buy in guild shops is restricted anyway.

    Why not - Reset the leaderboard but just leave the guild shop be

    I'm wondering what sort of compensation will be given for those of us who did buy the savior gun after actual wins -- if you have to take it away, fine -- but what about the upgrade XP I've spent?

    But if you're going a clawback : how are you going to make that fair? I seriously considered spending on Yumiko Tokens instead, and now deeply regret it -- I'm sure there were other folks who made that choice / are they going to lose their rewards too?

    Then... How about the grenade, flare(s?) and blast grenades that I (and many others) spent on the games played?

     @Lexia why not let GW go while you figure out the fix first and just give every team 1.5x bonus? Everyone or most would be happy with that. Instead you all decide to shut it down while some got to upgrade new weapons. I say let them keep them.

    But that said why not let the community play and just keep something decent going until you had a fix?

    It's closed, and it shouldn't be possible to enter or play any missions. If you are actually able to play (or someone else in the guild is), please reach out to support so they can they a closer look at the account
