The last time we lost our Round Passes I made this post:

In short Round Passes need to go, and the amount of rounds in the Challenge should be fewer, but there should be Weekly Quests that will add more interesting gameplay.

One thing I didn't even touch on before, was the unfairness of RP in relation to scoring each week. Nobody's score for the current week should ever depend on what they did in the previous week. That alone should be enough to get rid of RP. 

I hope some changes to the Challenge format are seriously considered, because I am sure nobody, including NG, ever wants to deal with this fiasco again.

    I like the spirit of your inventive mind. 

    I intended for Master Mission to make round passes no longer needed, but they kept both... Which was a mistake I think. Now we're used to it and Busta would have 12 litters of kittens if they took away his round passes for good.

     (i mean, he would adapt eventually, but only after weeks of grumping, so I still think it would be good to remove them)

    But challenge overhaul is needed, and all ideas are better than no ideas, so keep them coming.

    @ShadowWalker I am not quite sure this is the best solution, but I like the opening of the discussion. The Challenge Stars earned are a source of pride for the end gamers and the leaderboard, so I don't see that going away. Those at the top are spending real money to do that and I can't see NG cutting off that source of revenue. The introduction of the Master Missions was awesome because it lessened the grind. I'm usually done by Friday, so I like to have the weekend for The Distance and Last Stand and have a more relaxed pace.

    In the end, NG needs to make sure the Challenge works. Having a wipe of the previous RPs plain sucks. Someone mentioned a Beta Testing Day or something like that. I think having a Challenge Testing Day on Monday and/or Tuesday for players who want to run through the maps (no Stars earned, but at 5 gas like the Scavenge Missions) would be the best solution. That way, any game-breaking bugs can be found and fixed before the real Challenge starts. Finding out these bugs right after the Challenge starts has shown to be a disaster.

    Yes my suggestion is to have less rounds, but that's so that players can advance to the next difficulty level as quickly as possible. However, the idea behind the Weekly Quests will be that you will end up repeating some of those rounds in order to complete the tasks.

    For example, you can have a Quest to beat 10 maps over lv 50 with a bruiser on your team, and 10 with an assault, 10 with a warrior and 10 with a scout. In this case, you obviously can't use all four at the same time, so you may have to repeat some maps with a different team.

    There should be enough Quests so that players have plenty to do, and hopefully play even more than they currently do.

    I realize now that I didn't mention anything about Challenge Stars, but to be clear I don't want them to go away. In fact my inspiration for this suggestion is based on how we use to be able to earn extra stars in the Challenge by doing some daily quests during Challenge missions.

    We need some MMMs -- master master missions, that are harder than MMs and therefore allow you to skip 5-10 rounds at a time to get to Nightmare faster rather than just skip the individual missions in a round. Then only MM for Nightmare rounds.

    Every time there’s an issue with RP being reset, why not just give everyone RP based on their max challenge score instead of resetting to 0? Or reset everyone to 26

    I think either of these would be better options if this happens again in the future just for the sake of preventing players from feeling demoralized, angry, and/or drained.
