VP 1.5x for winner is Wrong!

Example:
Guild A vs Guild B  12000:11000 = Guild A Win 12000+6000= 18000
Guild C vs Guild D 14000:14100 = Guild C Lose 14000+0 =14000

TOP
Guild D with 14100(21150)
Guild A with 12000(18000)
Guild C with 14000(14000)
Guild B with 11000 (11000)

Guild A is not better then Guild C! the guild C plays worse and gets more total score in top!

I think 1.5x RP for winner is good
I think 1.5x VP for winner is bad

Why is Guild A not better than Guild C? Guild A won and Guild C lost. Maybe they played with less players…..

VP is the only incentive for people to bother throwing tools and golds in order to win.
No way they will remove that multiplier for a win.

The fact A team won in your example just means that there were the best at their level. That's why there is a matchmaking calculation that needs to be good.
If C team keeps losing, then next season they will face A team and crush them

think for a moment like this:
if you pass the test 100% who is the winner?

if 5 others pass this test with 100%?
    then who is the loser?
    There isn't.

In the case of fun what is the game of this game - the rule that the winners are awarded the same seems fair to me

Exactly this. The game isn't really a competition, it's a puzzle you solve.

Like the Rubik's cube, competitions aren't about solving the puzzle it's about other things like speed, doing it blindfolded, one handed etc.

Wanting lesser guilds to get less, even though it’ll make no difference to what your superior guild gets and will not make them competitive with you, seems poorly motivated to me. Or am I missing something?

I don't think OP is complaining about "lesser" guilds getting more than they deserve, after all he said 1.5× RP is good. I think it's about trying to have a more accurate leaderboard.

Assuming the guilds had the same amount of people in the team, then yes, Guild A is worse than Guild C and they're only ranked higher because they didn't face off against Guild D.

I actually don't think it's that big of a problem, because over the course of the season it will even out. However, I don't really think there needs to be a VP multiplier. It would be a lot more accurate to display the actual scores on leaderboards, and the reward tiers can be adjusted to unlock at lower scores without the 1.5 multiplier.

Hmm… perhaps. I think you’ve made a reasonable assumption as the comparison only makes sense if each guild is competing with the same number of players in this war. So if guild A are scoring 12,000 when 14,100 is possible then they’re nowhere near competing for a spot on the leaderboard, are they?

But I think I may have unfairly read the original post in bad faith. Is the request that the 1.5 multiplier only goes to teams who hit max score? But even if it is this the only consequence of this action would be that lower scoring guilds don’t open the higher tiers in the guild shop. Why would anyone want that?

Yes, I don't see any reason why winner, who already have maximum score, get more x1.5 score?
1.5× RP is prize for victory but more VP for what? It breaks the leaderboard.

it will be right like this
    Guild A vs Guild B  12000:11000 = Guild A Win 12000 + 1.5x RP
    Guild C vs Guild D 14000:14100 = Guild C Lose 14000 + 0 RP

    TOP leaderboard
    Guild D with 14100
    Guild C with 14000
    Guild A with 12000
    Guild B with 11000
