@JordanYuki and I were daydreaming about old forgotten challenge missions and went down the YouTube rabbit hole of No Man's Land history.

There are quite a few old challenges that were shelved due to "bugs" and to many freeman etc (The Suburbs, Teeming Graveyard, The Freeman etc) but there are also a bunch of single missions that were removed for various reasons, most often because they were too difficult.Ā 

So we came up with six that we thought would make a good compilation (esp since none are being used in other challenge sets). Some of these were very hard when they were removed , but I think with current meta and tools and support etc etc I think the community would fare a lot better against these formerly difficult missions .Ā

( this one was originally part of the fouled prison and was later replaced by handrails and Freeman pricks. I personally would love to see this put back and handrails removed into that challenge set.)Ā

    I was actually just thinking this same thing: revive several old, retired maps now that we have new strats, heroes, weapon abilities, etc.. Inside and Out and Shut Them Out were even two of the specific maps I had in mind, along with the older version(s) of Roadrunner. I didnt have 3 others in mind, but these are pretty solid selections.

    River Cabin i really liked the water effect at the exit.Ā 

    I remember thinking these when it first came out and then it was gone forever.Ā

    Wow that's a blast from the past!
    Most of these vids are from 2015/2016 pre-heroes era, feels like a lifetime ago.

    I want Behind Corners back just for the sake of seeing everyone cry about how they hate it, that's a one ptsd inducing map šŸ˜†

    Yep, I'd love to see some of these maps back in circulation. I'm not sure whether I'd like a challenge set purely made up of them but perhaps throw a few of them in here and there into some of the sets which have repeated maps from other sets. Like kill room, through the wire etc!

    With all the new LTs, tools and supports these maps wouldn't be as broken as they were back then!

    Does anyone have original design pics ?
    I'd like to see this townscape it was to choose modes again. It's been a long time but it used to look like a street if I remember well. Does anybody see what I mean ?
