Yeah. It's the same for a lot of heroes, for example Ezekiel like ZXer said. But also T-Dog and Beta. What matters with their LTs is just having it. Don't need to update it. Of course their other traits might still benefit from a few upgrades. Especially melee heroes.

I started using her as soon as she could be unlocked and it was a huge step up without any upgrades and rerolls. The first prio after that was to get lucky level 6 because with that you would cripple 100% with silver lucky (15%). These days with the new Savior Handgun and lucky primed armor you actually don't even need lucky, but you want both lucky and crit aim to make it much easier. You are right that new players should prioritize those and only those traits on her. Nothing else really matters unless you're going for scoreboard positions.

My guess is, and tell me if I’m wrong, that you’re disappointed with the bracket of players who have got Yumiko’s traits all sorted and have 6+ stars on her, but are still voting for her?

Not specifically. I expected her to get more votes than the new heroes because I know people in general don't understand game mechanics. I'm more disappointed with people not using this opportunity to get something new. I thought at least that Tyreese and Hershel would get 70-80% of the votes the SPMY heroes got.

Perhaps when the dust has settled after the birthday call NG could run an origins call with all the OGs from the season 2-3 prison era:

This feels like the crux of it, right? While levelling Beat Em Up and Regal Authority has very little bearing on improving performance it’s a necessary step of coming back round to level up traits which really do benefit from higher percentages. Now that I’m getting to level 7 or 8 on some of my best heroes it takes quite a while to save up enough tokens to upgrade/promote anything, and when it falls to either some LTs or a promotion it almost feels like a waste! I’m currently saving up 1000 TDog tokens to take Best Em Up from 60% to 70%, which is taking ages and isn’t even going to make a noticeable difference

But I really want to increase Lucky and Weakening on him so will be worth it eventually

I'm afraid there's no way to get out in front of it with something like this vote. Seeing is believing, and no one seeing it yet.

@Paste I said I agreed with you and just to be clear this wasn’t being sarcastic or anything.

except on Beth. Beth should be the no 1 scout or at worst no 2. Her buff is exactly what makes her great = you can use her without having her in lead. If anything, NG needs to increase the % slightly up (like 2-3 point each level), but the buff is perfect. @ATLAS-Z can help me here.

2 morning stars as I said would be better than any scout almost all the time. Until you hit round 60 and you can’t kill fast enough anymore = now a combination of Beth and maybe Tyrese or Michonne mean you can still manage spawn. I wanted to say Mercer, but basically because of Yumiko, Mercer will always be best paired with Yumiko (or sometimes with Princess like this week’s round 80).

BUT if scout ever gets a crowd control weapon like the riot shield …

Also if I look at the voting, what I also said was that substitute Yumiko with Beth will make it more sensical. I agree people still need to catch up with Ezekiel - myself included. I was just saying that like Yumiko - his LT needs no upgrade. But yes things like perseverance and lucky still help.

perhaps the next to be removed should be Sasha. But I also realize this will be too controversial.

@BenjaminT definitely BRosita, if you are able to choose your leader. ( 💩 star hero)

@ZXer i agree, Beth is good, possibly no. 1 scout. But yes, a few % increase on her trait levels would make her better.

(relative to Mercer, her % are terrible. He has a small % chance to miss assuming lucky boost, but does huge % of damage infinite area of effect. Whereas Beth % are very low and require a kill/charge, small area, BUT work on EVERY HIT once activated. Beth needs Brosita in the LEAD, Mercer only needs Yumiko on his team. So yeah, Beth is still way behind and a few % bump on her LT would be a good idea IMO).

More on Beth

I have her LT 6 = 14%. So with 3 heroes attacking this is roughly 42% at sliding scale (due to consecutive attack reducing the HP consecutively) which is roughly equivalent to Mercer’s 30% but at 50% + lucky chance but multiplied by 2 when using Yumiko. However with primed, then Mercer effectively has a 3rd shot like 90% of the time. So this is why I say NG needs to up Beth’s percentage by 2-3 points.

If NG does this - you will see that Beth is just like Mercer but for melee

HOWEVER with Tyrese and FiRosita now maybe Tyrese-Beth or FiRo-Beth will make the comparable Mercer-Yumiko alternative

Just based on the fact that you actually have a goal of getting any survivor to lv 10, and are just fine with heroes at 8/9, that makes me think you are massively overestimating the amount of radios an average player actually gets.

I think most players aren't even at lv 8 for SMY/SPY (maybe for Sasha because she's been around so long), but realistically that's probably still the end goal for many players (after that leveling up seems like an impossibility). Heck, even getting to lv 7 and properly rerolled is probably still a big deal for many players.

However, I do agree that there are plenty of SMY/SPY calls, and NG needs to do a better job of having more special calls for ALL heroes. #JerryTokensMatter

oh I’m under no illusion that I get more phones than a lot of people. But over the course of a year with the amount of calls that come out each week for them and let’s be honest you’ll get a fair few phones from challenge even in a low level guild and if your desperate for these 3 survivors in particular then level 7 isn’t that unachievable.

If lack of phones is the problem then I don’t see how having a good 40 call is going to be that beneficial as these players don’t have any phones to spend on it anyway? Or maybe have the chance at one or 2 and might not even get the hero’s they want anyway.

@Firekid mostly I think it's something you touched on, lots of players are not good at keeping their radios in their pocket.

My Alt account is 100% free and i barely make challenge minimums on it due to time constraints 👇👇

It has close to 900 radios saved at the moment, which would be easily doubled if I had time to play it more.

Something I’ve always done, choose a hero to level up, save up until that hero comes along, blow the lot. Repeat. I know a lot of people knock the 15 calls but they aren’t too bad. If you want a specific hero.

Agreed, sometimes you are on the no luck run, in which case I normally stop after 3-4 calls and wait till they come round again next week.

I would say this, the 15 radio calls with a boosted 20% chance and 1,000 token jackpot are actually pretty good if you want to focus on one hero.
