Update 5.6 Predictions

I’m starting this thread purely for fun. I want to know what you all think will be in the next update or/and what you would like to see. I’ll start;
1. First thing I would most like to see is an update to the badge crafting system. With all the new traits and maybe a easier system where you can see in game what the next possible bonuses can be and if it’s gonna be an even or odd badge.
2. A new type of walker that can resist status effects. This has been suggested for a while and I think it’s time with all the cripple weapons. Last week’s last stand with Zeke + RAR + Harrier 🤮
3. Hunter Daryl rework. This has also been suggested for a while by many people. He’s still in the show, he’s gonna be in the next TWD series and he just got a new skin. I think it makes sense that they rework him at this point in time.
4. Hunter Maggie rework. She’s also still in the show and she’s gonna be in the new TWD : Isle of the dead series. She’s also the only hero besides Tyreese, Hershel and FRosita that’s never been the ⭐️ hero. I think they’re planning on reworking her first.

5. A new hero trait for range class heroes. Melee got all the love in the last updates with weakening and perseverance. I think it’s time range heroes got a trait that can give charge points so we can play other range heroes without the need to include heroes like Sasha and Princess in our teams.
6. An update to the reroll system so less reroll tokens are wasted to get desired traits.
7. Maybe a council update, we haven’t had one in almost a year and a half.

Oh!… I almost forgot. Lexia said they have something special planned for Hershel, my guess is that he’ll be the first ⭐️ hero playable
in any position 🙊 -
I would love to see a search system for weapons and armor based on their traits in Update 5.6. e.g I can search for armor with lucky, sniper and tactical traits.
I would love to see Governor and Hunter Maggie LT reworked. Governor is the only hero with 4 traits while not in Leader position.

Maybe he will be the Star Hero for Christmas and he wears a limited edition Santa outfit? -
Being able to use Reinforcement Tokens to change the Class of armor. For example, changing Bruiser armor to Shooter armor. I could go for that.

I can understand not being able to use reinforcement tokens for anything from the Guild Shop/Bundles/Events, but the random crap we get in crates, it would be great if we could change the traits on them. So many times they're 2 perfect and 1 useless trait. And they won't break the game.

I would love to be able to craft Infused Gear using reinforcement tokens and regular gear.
This alone could probably keep me preoccupied for months. -
For me the next council update should be the last, already at level 29 the top players are finding everything too easy, level 30 will only make it easier, anything beyond that will likely result in more complaints that players are bored. Besides 30 is a nice round number 😊

Another thing I would like to see, which I think could be implemented quickly, is a buff to defensive traits, in particular to Iron Skin on armor. Since Tactical was added to the pool of traits for armor, there is no reason to have Iron Skin over Tactical. I would bump Iron Skin up to 30%/20%/10%.

Hopefully the new update will include fixing how the morningstar and other weapons work with Fighter Rosita's LT trait.
Think it would also be interesting that if another hero is introduced, let them have them have the ability to have both and ranged weapon and melee weapon with the caveat that there is a limited number of ammo before the melee weapon has to be used. Would add extra strategy to the game and freshen it up a little.

Maybe we could have some version of upgrading all the nearly badges we craft into better badges? Something similar to trading 5 epic components for 1 legendary one.

Also, it’s been suggested already but I think live PvP is such a brilliant idea. They’d be such huge kudos attached to the leaderboard it wouldn’t even need much in terms of reward to make it appealing, especially to the top players. Here’s how I think it could work.
initially everyone starts at zero ranking, points are awarded for a victory and battles are limited to 3 (pick any number really) a day. Quite quickly a hierarchy would emerge and the ranking system in place for the outposts could be copied. This would mean when you’re randomly assigned an opponent the system could pick someone of a similar ability/ranking/points. Once a week give out a certain amount of trade goods according to what rank each player is in. Publish a top 100 and have scores accumulate, a bit like the leaderboard for total guild stars.
To make the battle fair I can’t think of anything better than randomly selecting who goes first, or possibly have the player with the lowest score/rank go first maybe? The map would need to be symmetrical so that neither had an initial positioning or layout advantage. There’s need to be a timer active for each turn. Maybe 60 seconds to complete your move or your turn automatically ends. Leaving a battle early would result in an automatic loss. Last player with a hero alive wins.
What do you think? -
Hopefully deleting the over complicated badge system that has promoted unhealthy gambling addictions over the years.

I got 2 out of 7 😄 I didn’t have a new hero on my bingo card since we already had a campaign. Connie looks awesome, a hero that give others charge point is something I always wanted to see. She’ll be useful in all sorts of different teams.
