So I really like the Commonwealth walker ("CW walker") concept, but as others also noted, I think it's not really throught through.
Pretty much the only way to handle high level CW walkers is to use Mercer, as he can easily get them to under 50% health before they get too close. As they have the stats of armored walkers, other ranged weapons will have a quite limited effect (bodyshots and high overall health), and melee of course will be really bad as you can't root, cripple or stun them.
So I suggest two changes
1. Make the CW walkers immune to Mercer's LT also
2. Make them have less health (maybe half or like fast walkers) of a normal walker and no bulletproof armor. This way you can take them out with a variety of teams, as long as you have a good damage and ways to get yourself charged.Ingame username: Jubjab -

@IoSonoSempreNegan it means that a CW walker's chance to resist a status effect is directly proportional to their health. 100% health = 100% status resist. Chip away some health, and it's as if the armor breaks away with it; at 75% health, they only have 75% status resist, at 50% health, 50% status resist, etc..

@Lexia going a bit out of topic, Primed is not working properly on Melee Survivors and Heroes. My melee survivors have 60% plus chance for primed to activate and most of the time it does not activate resulting in a less than 30% chance for primed to activate.

@Lexia could you give more specific information about which bonuses will be added to badges? obviously there are a lot of people concerned about changes to the badge map (and while this is not a concern of NG, for us it would be important). The "etc." in the updates notes didn't specify anything.

There are many things NG can do to make the game harder for high end gamers, while not making it harder for beginners / mid-level players. The introduction of Commonwealth walkers is a good solution! Let's see how it works out.Ingame username: Jubjab -

I've written a post, named Thank you, several days ago, but I am wrong now. New update makes classes imbalance again. New traits, new bruiser weapons and new hero make this class better again until CW appears. Crippling and "move for half" is a combo which help bruiser alive. Warrior with MS can strike CW back. Scout with MAxe can stop CW. How about bruiser? RS? RM? -
Depending on how much damage the CW inflict it might be a strategy to take a couple of hits from them with some old fashioned bruisers.

I am most exieted about the new badge bonuses. These will be able to function like extra traits now, atleast i hope so. The rest is ok, connie will be outstanding and sending rick to the bench. Crazy stuff is possible with her. For the weapon: the usual piercing bullshit.

couldn't fix the retaliation from the fast walker and just removed it, classic NG
CW walker will not affect the Guild Wars mode because all walkers except Spikes is an empty space on the map
CW Spikes instead all walkers on map can add some challenge to GW mode -

Fast Walkers have been changed to no longer Retaliate. Fast Walkers' HP and damage have been increased to be the same as normal walkers, but they can still move one space further (3 in total)
Thanks NG for this change. How many times, my survivors went into struggle just because of Fast Walkers retaliate...
Now Lets see what Fast Walkers have lost so far
Their ability to make survivors bleed
Their ability to dodge bullets better than survivors
Their ability to retaliate
