Make Sniper Morgan Great Again - like Ezekiel

Sniper Morgan LT is a joke. Here's one idea to improve

Perceptive

When Sniper Morgan or any of his allies is about to be attacked, he will fire a pretaliate attack. All shots can interrupt the incoming attack according to normal interrupt odds / calculation.

If he is the leader = all members of the team will fire pretaliate attack.

Note that this should trigger only on the 1st attack, just like Ezekiel's LT. So if SMorgan is the leader, the first attack should result in 3 pretaliate shots assuming all 3 are in range.

    Another idea. What if sniper Morgan’s overwatch attack pushes back enemy like the Bulldozer Shotgun?  It’s not exactly the same as Ezekiel with a Morningstar unless you leave action point left.

    How about... "Prevenge"?

    Prevenge on an all range defence with a couple of starbounds might be close to invincible, especially with GCarol in the team. If they had a decent amount of pinks I don’t think you’d be able to just out-blast them. How would you play against this? Send tanky bruisers with a lot of DR across the gap and pray you can stun a couple of them before you die? :D

    This is a great idea and I really hope I never have to face it  :s

    In fact the way I describe it, it is "prevenge" and "pretaliate" at the same time

    Most importantly is just that all the "prevenge+pretaliate" are spent on the 1st attack. We don't want that all 3 of enemies' attack to be interrupted.

    This would work wonders with both Guardian Carol and Yumiko.... even more so if all characters had both Retaliate and Revenge!!!!

    I have some querstions about his LT, will Vigilant work with his LT? And does SureShot work with Primed? I'm thinking on rerolling his SureShot for Retaliate..

    Yes and No.

    SMorgan's LT increases total dmg after all dmg calculations, which includes Vigilant when it activates.

    Primed is essentially an overwatch attack, Vigilant works on Primed overwatch as well when it activates.

    *SS doesn't work on overwatch.

    Sure Shot works on Overwatch? Description says “Attacks made on your turn”

    Sureshot only works on your turn. In other words, no for overwatch, revenge, retaliate,  pretaliate, or primed.

    Give sniper Morgan the same exact trait as Ezekiel. Because turdzekiel was fixed after years of complaining. Sniper Morgan never was. If sniper Morgan had an auto interrupt, he would be fixed. 

    And there'd be no issues with morningstar knock back and bugs! Just auto interrupt ends turn.

    Fixed. Everyone is happy.

    If this was put in place, and Smorgan led a team of three Revenge/Retaliate hunters with fire Starbounds, do you think the top players could beat them without any Starbound rifles?

    Good point. Unless there was a Guardian Carol equipped with an Incendiary Starbound or Devil's Torch or a trio of Bruisers with all High Health badges and Armor with Gold Hazard and Gold Stun Resist (to thwart the effects of defending Hunters with both Critical Aim and Lucky), I guess no one really stands a chance.
