Defenders valuable leader trait

Hi community !
As I was cheking my mates GW defense, I was asking myself if an official table bringing together all the leader traits that work/do not work as defender had been made. I'm sure of my chosen toons, but as a maybe too old school player, I must admit that I'm not sure for some that AI is using them properly and for other it may that just a part of it could make it worth. Idk
Could anyone there be helpful ? 😊🙏🏼
Or even if @Lexia would be able to share it ?

You mean the ability to get an extra action points when you shoot human?? A lot of my teammates have her as leader!

Correct. She will get the extra action point but the AI is too stupid to use it

I was just asking myself in how point the AI use traits in the most basic way !

IMHO the following heroes have the most useful LT for GW defence purpose:

Carl
Guardian Carol
Daryl (crit chance)
Dwight
Abraham
Alpha (crit chance)
Rosita
Negan

Yumiko and Ezekiel can be good/OK too but I'd hate to re-roll them into PvP heroes.

For the best performance your defenders need PvP setup:

At least Revenge+Retaliate perks. Critical Aim, Marksman, Sure Shot, Bullet Dodge and Lucky are also useful for ranged heroes.
Primed/Bullet dodge/Stun resistance armor.
Incendiary long range weapons. Cripple and interruptor traits are also useful.

Heroes with fire arms seem to cause more trouble than mele.

I hear Governor is really good lol. I'm still surprised by how little effort people put into their GW heroes and see Governor used a lot, and occasionally other stupid choices like scout Glenn. Or how many people leave non-legendary gear on them. Game scales their gear, so even a lower level gold weapon can work.

Eugene's leader trait is interesting too, imo.

And based to your opinion, by choosing Daryl and Alpha, you could also notice scout Carol.
And by choosing Sgt Abe, you could also notice Jesus.
And to mix our both opinion, Mercer's leader trait could have interest too.

What you guys think about this ?

Note that my defenders are 1 - Eugene/pvp dedicated shooter with all traits necessary/sniper Morgan defender rerolled 2 - Carl/Negan/Dwight team (full Op mode activated) 3 - yumiko/pvp dedicated hunter with all traits necessary/Guardian Carol defender rerolled. To clarify that my different points of view before are just to talk about and share our different experiences.

If Mercer wasn't tied up on most teams as an offensive powerhouse, his LT would make him an excellent PVP troop. Many have worked him into their defenses and with the right setup, to deadly effect.

Mele defenders are pretty much useless. You just shoot them from range and watch them burn.

El LT de Maggie H. Si se activa pero la IA no lo usa y termina el turno por lo que resulta quedando en defensa, lo he comprobado cuando vi que no llevaba el rasgo preparado en su chaqueta

El problema que si noto es que el rifle de rango infinito no funciona correctamente en los defensores de GW

My favorite battles are against Melee.. I can't remember a time when they got a strike on me.

I've had fun using the Starbound Rifle on GW. The AI isn't smart enough to know I am shooting them from a distance and they should move up rather than hunker down.

I have to partly disagree with your list. First of all melee is really bad as defenders as they can be taken out at range.

Second, more important that a somewhat improved critical chance or damage is that you have suitable defensive traits, so a survivor defender with the right traits can easily be better than a offensively rerolled hero. Third, some Leader Traits are really good for defenders, but you didn't include those.

So my list is
Great LT & Defensive traits
- Carl (due to second chance and since he's not used for anything else you can put defensive traits on him)

Great LT & wrong traits
- Shane, Mercer, Guardian Carol, Ezekiel

Ok LT & Defensive traits
- Dwight, Negan, Daryl, Alpha, Sniper Morgan

Would be good but AI can't use them
- Yumiko, Hilltop Maggie, Rosita

Yumiko's LT isn't used by AI ? Or AI isn't enough smart to use it correctly at its value ?

YESSSSS!!!!! That he is!!!! And since mine has Gold Training Gear on Armor, I'm hoping that every time the Outpost Defense/GW Defender results in him killing an invading player, my XP will increase dramatically even when I'm not playing!!!!!! MY GOODNESS HE'S THE BEST DEFENDER!!!! NO CAP!!!!
