ZXer said:The problem isn’t with the CWW themselves but the mechanics on how to defeat them. So few ideas about them:
1. as already mentioned = they shouldn’t be allowed to spawn too close at the beginning
2. adjust the HP so besides Mercer, melee can kill them also within 2 turns at most
3. we need proper weapons to fight them. Interrupt morning star should be made available in GW shop and ensnare MS as survivor pass weapon
4. Riot shield with gold interrupt will also be nice. need this as F2P weapon. We also need 2nd MA as F2P - maybe in guild shop
5. remove some of the dice roll gambling element. So let’s say the CWW has 24% HP, so it has 25% status resistance. Make it so that it is only immune ONCE, meaning the 2nd hit will guarantee it no more resistant. If it has 49% HP, make it so the 3rd hit is not immune. If it has 74% HP, make it so the 4th hit it is not immune. We want skill based game, not too much gambling type game which is how this game has more and more becoming to lately.
Otherwise I think the idea is great. You just need to give the tools to beat them
1. Decrease the power of CW walker's and change the mechanics of how to kill them. I suppose it would be nice to try to remove the guaranteed resistance to all status effects and change the dependency:
100% to 75% HP - 75% resistance
75% to 50% HP - 50%
50% to 25% HP - 25%
25% to death - 0%!!!
2. Completely remove the resistance to the herd effect! The mechanics of taking to the herd with Beta and Riot Shield will guarantee the passage of difficult rounds in the challenge for all players, not just top donaters!
3. Make the guaranteed Interruptor! We can interrupt only 1 target with this perk and it's the only one that work against CW walker's for now, so I guess it won't be a huge difficulty reduction for the most of players. All it takes is just to make 65% instead of 60%, so there we can get a guaranteed interruption if we have 60% of Lucky.

Wow you folks are never satisfied with anything.
You all think that NG is here to please and serve everyone each of you. Well I think that NG is looking to serve itself and its employees. And that's the right thing to do, so the game to exist in the days to come!! If e.g. they saw that their income has decreased after introducing CWs, then they have to do something to bring a balance for God's sake. Or take any decision they think will help without asking you allThe company won't stay alive by just a handful top players who want to feed their ego being the only ones to enjoy the game. And to all the F2P players out there : start spending some cash you guys, it's a business how do you expect a company can survive if you want everything to be free?? Are you working for free in your real life job?? I doubt it.Stop the whining everyone, it's getting annoying -
Too easy. Add 5-10 more per map and no status resistance. I want to see Home Depot levels of tools being used.

on the first point the answer is yes.On the 2nd point the answer is IDGAF. It is not players job to keep companies afloat - it’s the company’s job to make sure users are happy so they come back (and hopefully spend some money)On the 3rd point the issue is not with the whining. If you have seen guild recruitments lately you would’ve seen the churn. Whining is only a symptom to tell you what the hell is wrong in the world.
IMO the CW is a good concept but rolled out with not so great thought process. There’s no clear mechanics on how to beat it when it shows in droves. And the dice roll concept just got overdone here where many players see it for what it is - spend money on the casino and you’ll eventually beat the game (even if you’re broke).
One reason for TWD NML success IMO is NG’s ability to balance the F2P and P2W components of the game - by design. And I don’t doubt they’re still trying hard to achieve this. But between the bugs and the increasingly slot machine-ish aspect of the game, a lot of players are getting turned off. So yeah. Many things do require fixing. Fast.Member of MavsOG -
There were a lot of LOLs in my comment and I'm glad for this one serious answer of yours @ZXer (cause I was dead serious myself). I won't debate on who is right - you have a point in some of your sayings, I got a point in some of mines, we agree that we disagree in most.
But I 100% disagree that NG (or any other company) is here to please ANYONE EACH of us.
Please the magority of their clients, yes.
Anyone individually, impossible.
And the gab between top/demanding and average/demanding players is huge - they need to keep the balance.
Whining is a symptom, true. It's also a personal choice to deal with things and an egoistic way of expressing one's thoughts.
Whining is unfortunatelly the one thing all players have in common ... reasonable suggestions are fine, demands of the type : "the game is too easy, bring unbeatable zombies" "the game is too difficult, let me be able to kill all zombies with one shot" such kind of demands are delusional. We need balance.Peace ✌ -

@WellyLuga Interrupt is not a status effect.

Okay that's fine, I think I just got a bit confused reading that comment as it made no sense for CWW to resist interrupt. But I can see now it's more about bumping it so it's 100% with lucky.

If we put the Commonwealth armor on Daryl and drop him in our outposts as a defender, does he become badass or do we need to kill him and have him turn into a walker to make him badass?
-
@Governator naw I think Norman just gets the cosplay version.

How about a buff to Negan to help deal with Commonwealth walkers and to make him relevant? Marked enemies have a greater chance of being affected by status effects (% increases per level). This will counteract the resistance of CW walkers and make it easier to set walkers and raiders on fire or to root them. Increase the number of enemies marked by 1 or 2 as well when he is in the lead.
Negan is one of the most iconic & badass character in TWD and he’s just a bit pathetic right now. -

While i do like this idea, I actually HATE Negan marking mechanics, and this would just shine a brighter light on that turd 💩. So pffffffffffftttttt... Lol.

@BenjaminT i still don't see anyone walking up to a level 54 Commonwealth and smacking him with Negan at an (X%) chance to stun. Unless that was somehow awful close to 100%.

‘A buff to his LT to help deal with commonwealth walkers’ is the first sentence. Second sentence is about marked enemies having a higher chance to incur status effects. There’s nothing in either about walking up and trying to stun, but the third sentence talks about fire and root.
Am I right in thinking Negan’s mark applies to chances and damage from/to his teammates as well as him? -

Ok bud. 1 slot for star hero, 1 slot for Negan, and third slot for... Thanos? With completed Infinity Gauntlet?
Even with this buff, I don't see it. But hey, you're right about it being fun for PvP. 😘
