why is it that some opponents/players have zero trade goods to win?

    Isn't that if you lose/draw?

    if you win you always get something.

    as you may know there are 3 steps in Outpost. the first is the flag, which already guarantees you a draw. Then you have to defeat the defenders, and get the box When you do one of these two, your victory is guaranteed (unless you magically lose your survivors)
    When you defeat the defenders, You guarantee that you will receive tier points.
    When you get the box (which is actually the correct name is the Trade Goods) you get the Trade Goods.

    @NatsuDark it has happened to me too to get zero trade goods. Only once in like hundreds of attempts so probably just a freak bug

    it happens a lot once i’ve reached Master level (8000+). it’s weird and once i hit 9999 i usually just go for Trade Goods and leave the characters alone, but i have to skip these since a raid would be for nothing at that point in the game.

    so any update? i did a search and this has been a problem since 2018, apparently. when will this be fixed?

    i’ve been getting zero trade goods opponents all day today. there are literally no opponents with Trade Goods. also, these zero trade goods opponents have the same defense set ups like some actual players, like the game is using a player’s account with a different name.

    Hey! Sorry it took a bit. When a player was raided and defeated, they will get a shield. During this period, the attacker who matches and defeats this player will only win rank points. Since you get matched with high-ranked players, it's more likely to see this happening than when you're not high-ranked.
