    @Yikes We actually had a lot of people who received their weapons. We're hoping our support staff won't be overwhelmed by all of this; I know you're all talking to each other and know quite some players, but you don't know the majority of them.

    Got both campaign weapons. One week ago I got the original pumpgun and the gold. No axe. A few days ago the gold was gone, but still no axe. Finally today the axe with the wrong traits was gone. Still no compensation for that. So I have both versions of the pumpgun, no gold and no axe. Not even the shitty one.

    But I could buy the survival pass to get another version, which I`ll definitly not do.

    Our expectation is to round up deducting the weapons within 2 weeks. We are able to verify if your old equipment was successfully deducted and if your new equipment arrived, and will double-check each player account involved.


    We hope we are able to get each account sorted out as soon as possible, and we would like to apologize for the inconvenience this situation has caused. We will continue looking into your feedback on this matter, as well as other matters, so don't feel shy about reaching out to me.


    Most of my guild members and I met the requirements and clicked on your chatbot customer service on 3/29-3/30. We also chose the correct option and answered YES. However, up until now, only one person in our guild has completed the weapon exchange, and the rest have not received any exchange. Furthermore, all our contacts with customer service have been left on read with no replies.

    Is this how you treat players after taking over NG's business? It's really disappointing, as it's you who messed up, not all of us players. Or do you think that the players in this game don't need to be valued? Please hold an internal meeting and review this issue seriously!

    Neat. Great to hear that I somehow made my request wrong after waiting this long. I have reached out to support. Back to waiting I go.

    No, this is also bullshit. From my (mis)understanding we could start asking for converting from april the 3rd, which was wrong on my side. So I was late to ask. Second shotgun came and first poleaxe alongside gold were gone anyway a few days later. And as written before, second shotgun is still there. So all the talking about deadline and the ability of only both or none weapons to change is not reliable.

    Thanks everyone who pointed out that I need to switch both weapons..I did originally  ask to switch both weapons...But I waited forever for any kind of response...Then people started posting that they had managed to exchange just the Wrecker Shotgun....So I decided to try asking for that...People also saying just ask for both and I'm good ...Support no longer replies to messages it seems like someone went on a Easter break and left a bot in charge that has since crashed...Its just one way chat with no reply...Like I said I no longer care or want the weapons

    I got the new message following me chasing the support as I had not received the new weapon either as gift or my old weapons being exchanged.

    I hope it's not exchanged rather just given to us as like other players has - I imagine it's easier from a technical point and as well as a good goodwill gesture that will make me consider investing in the game with cash. Assuming theyre going for the cheapskate approach by exchanging, then ill continue to avoid any future purchases in the anticipation that the game will continue to be ran with deceit.

    @Jeroen I appreciate you must be wading through a tonne of shit, it hasn't gone unnoticed how active you have been since joining and this is in no way directly aimed at you but...

    The lengths that we, the players, are having to go to so that YOU can fix YOUR mistake is beyond frustrating. Even after all of this I can't believe you're still planning to take the 500 gold gift back.

    What a frustrating journey. 

    Received the original weapons today. And yes... they take 500 Gold.

    Maybe we get another compensation for this torture?

    I finally received the weapons this morning too on the drive to work. Less 500 gold.

    Am I expecting to the original weapons then too or do we get to keep this as goodwill @Jeroen

    Yesterday I reported to support that I hadn't received the new weapons yet. Today I received the new weapons. Level 30, even though the old ones are level 29, but you don't hear me complaining :)
    I also still have the old versions; what's stopping me from scrapping them to regain some of the invested upgrade XP?

    Never mind just checked my account and it already has been taken away.
    So sad for that exp investment ... Not a single damn either for the poor communication timing (I presume we all upgraded it because the old manager noted that no swap was going to happen)

    First, I appreciate the exchange.  The gold claw-back, no problem.  It was compensation for the mix up anyway.  But given how quick you were to take it back I'd have assumed that you see the value of resources.  My fully upgraded shotgun was replaced with a non upgraded one.  Upgrading weapons is expensive and time consuming.  Is there not some way to make these exchanges equal in value?  Either boost the exchanged weapon at your end or maybe compensate xp for (in my case) 4 upgrades to 2 weapons?  First world problems, I know but this has been a bumpy transition, no?

    I got the weapons I wanted, just as was promised. Thanks DECA, I appreciate your efforts and responsiveness.

    I think we can all agree this whole episode has unfolded with more bother than was necessary. But my impression throughout has been that DECA have acted with good intentions.

    Special thanks to @Jeroen who’s been brilliant at bridging the space between DECA and us players, and was able to sort my lost support ticket problem within an hour of me reaching out to him.

    I had to register to leave my indignation about this "company".
    When DECA took over the rights to the game, I thought it was a well-known move in the business world.
    Company A leaves the scene for Company B to take its place and end the legacy of Company A without tarnishing its legacy.
    (Any similarity is purely coincidental)..
    So hold on to your coins, soon the game will no longer be supported.
    (Actually, we don't).
    DECA representatives, since their ERROR with the equipment traces appeared, have been omitting and shaping the information according to their wishes.
    This fact makes it IMPOSSIBLE to believe anything DECA says going forward.
    DECA, if you miss it so much, you can have my useless equipment (upgraded with XP) and the 500 gold.

    @SparrowMerv did you actually compare the traits to the 5.8 update notes? The correct traits for the poleaxe are lethal, destructive, razor. If you have those, you got the right weapon. It's amazing the people I see in different channelsand social media  saying they received the wrong poleaxe weapon. Dude, you contacted customer service to get the correct weapon traits... You should know which traits you should have..

    This is a complete shit show!  DECA is losing $$ and players.  Because of all of this, I refuse to spend another penny on this game!

    I only got the message that my wrecker was replaced but nothing about the poleaxe, i checked again after work and the poleaxe was exchanged as well so all is good now

    Well said. There's some degree of player frustration that is warranted.

    But I'm still optimistic, and if this debacle drives a few of the more toxic whiners from the game, is it really such a bad thing for the rest of us?

    Make some tear filled monologue with touching memories of friends and companions, and a final backhanded slap toward the Game Developers (DECA).
