Upgrading Missing Car with excess Gas

I currently have 3,000 gas, if I upgrade my mission car will I keep my excess gas or will it be reset to 45?

    Wow, that's a lot of gas! I am not 100% sure, but I would assume it is like when you upgrade your XP Tents or Council Building. Your saved XP and Supplies are not affected. But, with the DECA running the show now I would ask @Jeroen and/or Support. Of course, lots of people run with high gas levels and I think we'd have heard something with the last round of upgrades. Let's see what others say who are in the know.

    It doesn't reset, I have 5,700+ gas at the moment.
