ATTN - This Thread is not a wish list thread. It is just a thread for current top Tier gear and where to find it.

Mind you these are my opinion on what is top tier and I am welcome to hear the opinions of others and will update this thread accordingly. Happy to hear your input and I hope some will find this thread useful.

A lot of the gear that has been sold recently in the bundle shop has not been top tier. I am assuming that this is in part due to lack of knowledge on the part of the developer as to what the community thinks of as top tier, and the things we would like to buy. Or the things we would like to suggest to our teammates to buy. I hope this is helpful to you as well.

Side note:

Any gear with the "Infused" trait is from Guild wars rewards

You should not try to sell these in the bundle store (Infused should be special for GWs)

Instead, replace the "Infused" trait with a "special functionality" trait 👇👇

Then you can sell them and many will be happy who missed out on these from past guild wars.

One caveat:
"Special functionality" should not be a trait that has a % chance (Cripple, Burn etc) but rather a set value trait like Lucky, Area (Large caliber, High powered, Wide spread etc) due to a known bug with "special functionality" traits not being affected by lucky. So just swap around traits to put one in this slot that's not % based.

I've explained this in detail to @Jeroen but happy to explain again as needed.

For the shooter weapon / Saviour handgun - You can buy it at a cost of whatever your Local Currency as well as losing 5% burning rate xD
I think its that Flaming Crossbrow Gun and the Love Handgun (forget what its called) - Has a 45% burn rate as oppose to 50%

Either ways, arguably still worth it given the high benefit of the weapon which Free attack syngerizes very well in a SPY/SMY team.

wonderful list! Thank you for all that work @ATLAS-Z ! I personally also really enjoy the golden crossbow that cripples (one of the last season passes) for hunters! Also I agree it may be worth mentioning that a good alternative for the savior handgun is one version of the flaming crossbow/the girl power version of special someone (and I think there's a regular one now too) since we can't get the handgun anymore. Only drawback to these is less chance of incendiary kicking in but at least they can be bought in bundles every once in a while! this may just be my opinion but the commonwealth obliterator is more must-have than the decimator now, and so is the regular obliterator (the lucky versions)

Can’t really argue with any of that, except feel you should have a must have in each class in which case mercer’s axe should be upgraded.

Oh and after using the new bruiser hammer with Brosita this week I think that could be upgraded to a very nice to have.

Is the new Season pass weapon a "Must Have" ?
Arguably i think the lack of piercing or crippling makes the main Unique trait is very underutilised. On the other hand, it allows Sasha to gain more body shots therefore more Root.
Personally would put it in the same utility as the Hazard shotgun.

Happy to be proven wrong though !

The CW Wrecker Shotgun is definitely not a must have. For crowd control, Harrier is still best and if you don’t need cripple, the Burnout is still best for setting enemies on fire. It would be the best option after the Harrier though, for SMY specifically.

@Atlas The Harpoon Gun isn’t a must have anymore. I haven’t used it once since I upgraded the Harrier.

The Last Word is nice to have. Very useful in certain challenge missions and very good during Beth week in last stand.

The regular Blizzard Pistol is also nice to have, best shooter weapon for damage. I always use it during Shooter weeks.

Boy do I feel dumb. I thought that shotgun was for assaults and I was so happy they finally had a way to ignite walkers. I'm glad I didn't buy the pass yet.

I’m a bit baffled by the general sense of indifference for the Fire Wrecker Shotgun, I think it’s the best Sasha gun ever. It would be even better if it had Cripple as well but if Yumiko has a Cripple gun which hits multiple targets (Pulveriser from latest GW shop, for example) then this seems like the best SMY setup to me

I will continue to train SMY for newcomers with harpoon Sasha, decimator Mercer, and fire/cripple Yumiko. As such, it's still a "must have" in my book. Elite skill players can use many other weapon combos to equal or great effect.
